If a bhikkhuni allows a poor person to fully accept the donation of clothes, she commits a patayantika offense. If a bhikkhuni begs for and allows a family that cannot bear poverty or illness to sew permanent bedding clothes, she will commit a patayantika offense. The one hundred and forty-seventh patayantika offense is complete. The Teacher was in Shravasti when he said: Bhikkhunis, if you are robbed by robbers and suddenly arrive, suddenly take out the permanent bedding and give the clothes to those bhikkhunis. When taking out the permanent bedding, also gather all the bhikkhunis together. Because the fat Delightful Woman could not gather, this precept was established. Furthermore, if a bhikkhuni does not attend the giving of the permanent bedding, she commits a patayantika offense. If bhikkhunis do not gather when the Sangha suddenly gives out the permanent bedding, they will commit a patayantika offense. The one hundred and forty-eighth patayantika offense is complete. The Teacher was in Shravasti when he said: Even if five months have passed, take out the permanent bedding on time and have all the bhikkhunis gather together to distribute the gains. Because the fat Delightful Woman could not gather, this precept was established. Furthermore, if a bhikkhuni does not attend the distribution of the gains from the Dharma robes, she commits a patayantika offense. After taking out the permanent bedding, if she does not attend the distribution of the gains from the clothes, she commits a patayantika offense. If she does not want to receive, there is no offense even if she does not gather. The one hundred and forty-ninth patayantika offense is complete. In brief, the teaching is: Come back, completely peaceful, Abandoning and leaving, Not studying the scriptures, Not selling food to those who do not give, Not doing household chores, Sitting on a throne and receiving service, Nor weaving wool, Not carrying an umbrella and shoes. The Teacher was in Shravasti when the fat Delightful Woman instigated her disciples and attendants to fight, causing them to fight, but she did not reconcile them. The bhikkhunis asked: Why don't you reconcile the fight? The fat Delightful Woman said: If they want to fight, why don't they hit each other's heads with their fists? It's okay even if they fight. Therefore, she was ridiculed by many, so this precept was established. Furthermore, if a bhikkhuni is able to reconcile but does not pacify the fight, she commits a patayantika offense. No matter what fight occurs between a bhikkhuni's disciples and attendants, if she is able to reconcile but does not reconcile, or deliberately reconciles them to fight, she commits a patayantika offense. The one hundred and fiftieth precept is complete. When the Buddha was in Shravasti, the bhikkhuni Thullananda closed the door of the monastery and went on a journey with a crooked key. Other bhikkhunis could not open the door, which led to a fire, so this precept was established. Furthermore, any bhikkhuni who abandons her summer residence and leaves will commit a downfall. If a bhikkhuni closes the door of the monastery and goes on a journey without leaving the key with someone else, she will also commit a downfall. There is no offense if she forgets where she put the key or if eight obstacles occur. The one hundred and fifty-first precept is complete. When the Buddha was in Shravasti, Thullananda went out for alms in the morning and saw the son of a perfume merchant learning worldly knowledge. She developed affection for him and said, "Please teach me knowledge." The son of the perfume merchant taught her, "Siri bhu siri bhu siri bhu siri svaha (སི་རི་བྷུ་སི་རི་བྷུ་སི་རི་བྷུ་སི་རི་སྭཱཧཱ།, Devanagari: श्रीभुः श्रीभुः श्रीभुः श्रीभुः स्वाहा, Romanized Sanskrit: śrībhuḥ śrībhuḥ śrībhuḥ śrībhuḥ svāhā, Auspicious Protection Auspicious Protection Auspicious Protection Auspicious Protection Svaha)." Thullananda, while learning, said, "Please teach me again." After repeatedly asking to learn, the son of the perfume merchant became angry and said, "You bald-headed wicked woman, I don't need you." He then got up and left. Other bhikkhunis asked her, "Why do you keep asking to learn even after you've learned?" She said, "Because I love him, and I would be happy if I could be with him." Therefore, she was ridiculed and this precept was established. Furthermore, any bhikkhuni who learns monastic knowledge from a householder will commit a downfall. A bhikkhuni who learns knowledge from a man because she is in love with him will also commit a downfall. The one hundred and fifty-second precept is complete. When the Buddha was in Shravasti, Thullananda met another man and developed affection for him. She said, "Come here, I will teach you knowledge." She taught that man the knowledge she had learned before. The man said, "I have learned it." She said, "Learn it again." The man also became angry and said, "Bald-headed wicked woman, I don't need you or this knowledge." He then left, so this precept was established. Furthermore, any bhikkhuni who teaches knowledge to a man will commit a downfall. Any bhikkhuni who causes a man to learn knowledge because she is in love with him will commit a downfall. The one hundred and fifty-third precept is complete. When the Buddha was in Shravasti, Thullananda obtained a lot of food, so she ate liquid foods and bought clothes with dry foods such as flour.
