This is to say that seeing what is not a cause as the path. As stated in the Treatise on Entering Wisdom, holding precepts and asceticism as supreme by mistaking what is not a cause for a cause is to be abandoned by seeing suffering. Therefore, lying that leads to the division of the Sangha is shown to be the greatest fault of all misdeeds. Because they knowingly declare what is Dharma and not Dharma wrongly in the midst of the Sangha. Therefore, it is said that speaking falsely for the sake of dividing the Sangha is considered a very great fault. Some say that the action of dividing the Sangha is a gross offense. To admonish and not repent is a gross offense. Not repenting through solicitation and two karmas is a gross offense. The third statement of karma not being fully completed is a gross offense. They think that the last of the completed is a residual offense. Similarly, one should understand accordingly with respect to following, ruining families, and unpleasant matters. Entering is the action itself. Expulsion, talking, not remembering belong to it, because it is said. But this statement is not reasonable. Because pretending to divide the Sangha, and entering by following is the action of a gross offense, therefore it is a misdeed. For the division of the Sangha, a gross offense does not arise, because it is said that its action is a misdeed. Stating the desire to go and so on, and the action of entering by making what should not be stated as stated, is also a misdeed. Because stating the desire to go and so on, and making what should not be stated as stated, a misdeed arises merely by speaking frivolous words. For the actions of gross offenses and misdeeds, it is not reasonable to consider them as gross offenses themselves, because the action is blamed. Similarly, in some cases, as long as some monks pretend to make the Sangha harmonious, then everything will become a misdeed. To admonish and not abandon is a misdeed. Similarly, if some monks follow the division of the Sangha, it will become a misdeed.

it will become a transgression. As long as some members of the Sangha know about it, and the monks have performed the act of expulsion, if it is said to be acting according to desire, etc., it is a minor offense. As long as some practitioners say that what belongs to the Sutras spoken by the Sugata, etc., should not be said, then all will become minor offenses. If one scolds and then informs, saying it is a minor offense, etc., since it has been said like this, how can one call it a gross offense? If one does not turn back from the request and the two statements of karma, it is a gross offense. If the three statements of karma are not complete, it will become a remainder. Here, for these three remainders of the Sangha, one should understand the differences of the offenses in this way. The schism of the Sangha should be regarded as belonging to the aspect of the superior human Dharma. Its branches are the schism of the Sangha, which is the nature of the schism of the wheel, and after deliberately contemplating Dharma and non-Dharma, falsely speaking and showing the opposite in the middle of the Sangha, and the completion of the request and the four karmas, this is called completion. Because of displeasure, the treatises on Dharma and Vinaya that explain things in a reversed way are: Because of complete doubt about the Dharma, one should not practice it, one should act like a blind and deaf person, and practice what was said above. This refers to this. The nature of displeasure is that for this malicious person, because language has no result, it is displeasure, that is, not good at listening. Its nature is the nature of displeasure, which means not tolerating language. The other meaning is not following language. From the differentiation, displeasure means not following the path of language, and not accepting, so it is said. The remainder is expulsion. The remainder of the Dharma garment refers to the lower skirt, the kasaya, etc., other than the three Dharma garments that are treated with respect: the patchwork robe, the upper garment, and the skirt. Because ultimately, the three Dharma garments that are treated with respect should be possessed, and others should not, it should be understood that this is indicated by this. The remainder of the Dharma garment is spoken because of the origin of this, for the weaving of the abandonment of downfall.
