In terms of the meaning of "the past is not existent," being completely beyond is not a branch of an impure monastery. The commentary says that having an owner is arising, not a branch. To prohibit attachment to worldly objects, after being completely cautious, it is purchased for the sake of the Sangha, and the Sangha also rejoices. For the sake of the Sangha means the needs of the Sangha. Mentioning the Sangha, it should be known that even householders such as the four households are not considered the Sangha, because worrying about the affairs of householders is sinful. Even though the thought of remembering the noble Sangha is extremely virtuous, it is said so in order to establish it as something not to be done. The commentary says that when it is said "for the sake of the Sangha," the Sangha of the Hearers of the Tathagata is spoken of in terms of the topic, and it should be known that it is to indicate it approximately. Because that was not spoken by a sage, nor is it the main point, nor is it without its own meaning, it is not desired. Because in the differentiation, mainly for the sake of the Sangha, it is spoken for the Sangha of the Hearers, what is the use of the self-desired explanation that comes along with it, the Vinaya holders say. This groundless statement is a blameworthy aspect of speaking. Regarding the statement "slightly corresponding to the non-other part," the other should be said to refer to liberation from suffering, because samsara is inverted. Its non-part refers to the incompatible aspect, which is the Dharma of afflictions. Corresponding to it means corresponding to the non-other part, which are the four defeats. In its own differentiation, regarding the statement "corresponding to the non-other part," the other refers to liberation from suffering. Not corresponding to its part means the four defeats. Others, not understanding the explanation made by the Bhagavan, explain themselves, relying on others is the part of others, because he directly says that this person relies on the Dharma of intercourse, so speaking directly and clearly is the part of others, similar to the combination of two and two.

The meaning of "ོས་" (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is as follows. Among them, "ཕམ་པ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) means being in accordance with the part of others. Alternatively, "དེ་བཞིན་དུ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) refers to Nirvana, because it is virtuous and constant. Conversely, "གཞན་" (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is Samsara. Because of relying on it, it belongs to the part of others. What is in accordance with this is "ཕམ་པ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), which is in accordance with the part of others. For all these explanations, it should be understood that the negative particle should be discarded in all ways when explaining. However, through some aspects of the Sanghavasesa Dharma, it may also be in accordance with the non-other, because it is contrary to Nirvana, so if it is also blamed for this, should it be classified as Sanghavasesa? Considering this, in order to distinguish it, it is said, "by the Dharma that leads to defeat." So, why are two words said? Two words are said because this defeat is very contrary to the Dharma of Nirvana, therefore it is for the purpose of expressing the fault of leading to defeat. In terms of division, the five places of Devadatta are not staying in a solitary place, begging for alms, wearing tattered clothes, wearing only three Dharma robes, and having no covering. Disbelief in these five ascetic practices, intolerance, and practicing intolerance, those who are far away from the ascetic Gautama, if they are advised to take the precepts, then five hundred monks will take the precepts, etc., this is said in the root. Some say that the other five ascetic practices prescribed by Devadatta are not drinking yogurt and milk, etc., such as not eating milk and salt, wearing unsewn clothes, and not living in villages. I do not see this statement as relevant to the meaning, because when inverted views arise from separation, it is to show those. For example, Devadatta obtained the wrong view of slandering the noble ones, obtained the fault of cutting off all roots of virtue, there is no afterlife, etc., and then used five words to teach the Dharma to the Sravakas, the ascetic Gautama drinks milk, etc., this is because it is said in the root. Here, holding the precepts and asceticism as supreme.
