If doing business together yields a profit, it should be abandoned. If it is bought not for profit, selling it because profit is needed will be a mistake, because it is incomplete. If one wants to gain profit by distinguishing and sells, it should be abandoned. The opposite two situations will be a mistake. If neither wants to gain profit, there is no downfall, so it is said. The difference between manifest appearance trading is in accordance with the Indian commentary. Holding the alms bowl, except for merely observing, is like holding clothes. Robbing, robbing utensils other than clothes, should be regarded as a mistake, which can be understood through the Compendium of Vinaya. Regarding "reliance," the commentator says that the five reliances are examples, from the king and ministers, etc., until the worship of the gods, belonging to the allocated share, must be planned, repeatedly entrusted, this is an arrangement. It is unreasonable to say that it is only related to "reliance," because the scriptures say that the five clothes arising from the downfall should be distributed, therefore, the five arising from reliance itself rely on what arises from reliance. Furthermore, these arising from reliance are all complete, because what arises from reliance itself is the nature of death, and it is for the sake of the meaning of the nature of death, only accepting and arranging these is without fault, not because of fear of the king's robbery, etc. Because those will not endanger life. If taken before the time, one will be accused of greed, and if distributed long after, it will become a very terrifying time. At the time of reliance arising, because of love for the benefactor, accepting will not be accused of greed, and the divisions made between the times of less than ten days will not be damaged, it should be understood in this way. The commentator says that wanting to abandon the gains other than the clothes arising from reliance is unreasonable. The clothes arising from reliance, if held after the time of giving clothes has passed, it will be said that it should be abandoned, therefore, for the wealth other than that arising from reliance, such as gold and silver, which are not clothes, the arrangement obtained in summer should be understood as a mistake, in general.

Everything obtained during the summer will not become something to be abandoned, because it must be cut off until the time of giving clothes. Because it is said, "If you hold it beyond that, you must abandon it," etc., it is shown that only clothes are close to being abandoned, and for others, it is said that it usually becomes a serious offense. Therefore, monks should not divide what they have obtained during the summer. If they do, it will become a serious offense. There is no downfall for the five robes obtained through begging if the donor gives them himself. If they are divided in the summer, they will be reproached, but it is not so if they are given for the purpose of division. Because the donors have not changed their minds and the monks have no faults, this should be understood in this way. Some do not approve of the abandonment obtained by monks through begging, which is unreasonable, because it has been distinguished in the distinction of nuns, in order to distinguish that obtained in summer, until ten days before the last month of autumn, a nun who wants to obtain clothes through begging should accept them. After accepting, she should hold them until the time of giving clothes, and if she holds them beyond that, she will commit an offense of abandonment. This abandonment of staying in a monastery for seven days is not prescribed for monks living in monasteries, but for the group of six monks. This is not an abandonment of six days, because he stays within six days, so he prevents seven days, because the group of six monks deliberately wants to leave for seven days. Therefore, after seven nights have passed, it will become an offense of abandonment. The later summer is due to the topic, for example, a monk who is angry, agitated, and fierce, and then slanders without basis, like mentioning anger, and robbing clothes, like giving them himself. For nuns, the downfall of seven days is not distinguished, because it is forbidden to live in a monastery. If she stays there beyond that time, it is a misdeed because she has become a dependent on an inappropriate aspect.
