Showing the establishment of the chapter. In this, the introduction is divided into four types, namely, the differences in location, person, afflictions, and the basis of offenses. The precepts that are established are based on the power of contradicting the world and contradicting the discipline, including the five categories of transgressions that involve natural faults and established faults, and that prohibit the established faults. The establishment of transgressions should be understood as appropriate in all aspects of the main subject, the actions, and the actions of actions, from the perspective of intention and action. The characteristics of the extensive text have been explained. After that, the characteristics of the condensed text will be explained. The so-called characteristics of the condensed text are the condensed essence of the Pratimoksha Sutra, and through the means of abandonment, it shows the condensed teachings of the seven Buddhas' discipline. Among them, the disciples of the Bhagavan Tathagata who contemplate will commit minor offenses because they are merely delighted in the Dharma and rejoice in harming non-Dharmic heretics. Therefore, in order to completely abandon those offenses, the Bhagavan has condensed the Pratimoksha Sutra in this way and recited it twice a month, namely: "Patience and asceticism are the most excellent, the Buddha said Nirvana is the highest, A renunciate does not harm others, harming others is not a Shramana." Among them, the so-called "patience" is to endure, to accept the faults of others, or not to have hatred towards others. This itself is a supreme ascetic practice because it purifies the hatred in the mind and generates compassion. The so-called "Nirvana of patience," where "patience" refers to endurance, that is, towards the realm of the truth of suffering, with the aspects of impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness, with the wisdom of patience, arising Dharma-knowledge-patience towards suffering. This is also what was said earlier, the Nirvana shown by this, that is, the Nirvana attained through the path of non-leakage. The so-called "This is the highest, said by the Buddha," means that the Nirvana of patience is the most excellent of all things, this is praised by the Buddha Bhagavan, and is attained through the worldly path.

Nirvana is not permanent, but the Nirvana attained through the path of non-outflow is permanent, because it is the nature of peace. If asked, how is patience the supreme asceticism? Therefore, it is said: "Renunciation that harms others, harming others is not a Shramana." It means that harming others is to harm others with intention. Harming others is to harm others with body and speech. Shramana is the nature of peace. It is taught here that because harming others and harming others is not a complete renunciate Shramana, therefore patience is the supreme asceticism, and its fruit, the Nirvana attained through patience, is also the most supreme, so renunciates should practice patience. The disciples of the Bhagavan Tathagata with the crown also became small faults, because the propagation of the faults of others increased, and in order to completely abandon those faults, the Bhagavan briefly recited the Pratimoksha Sutra in this way, and recited it twice a month: Those who have eyes walk like this, avoiding dangerous places, wise people in this world of life, should also completely abandon all sins. One should not slander or harm, the Pratimoksha rules should be protected, one should also know the measure of food, one should live in a remote place, and constantly practice higher mind, this is the teaching of all Buddhas. That's it. Among them, those who have eyes walk like this, avoiding dangerous places, means that just like those who have eyes and are not blind, who have the ability to walk and know how to walk, avoid dangerous and uneven places such as abyss, thorns, poisonous snakes, etc., which are the cause of suffering. Wise people in this world of life, should also completely abandon all sins. It is said that wise people who have wisdom and the ability to dispel discrimination should also completely abandon all the sins in this world of life. If asked, how should those sins be completely abandoned? Therefore, it is said: One should not slander or harm, etc.
