Pao. 'Chongs shig ces bya ba ni (藏文:ཆོངས་ཤིག་ཅེས་བྱ་བ་ནི་,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:ཆོངས་ཤིག་ཅེས་བྱ་བ་ནི་) means it should be owned. De las 'das par bcangs na ni zhes bya ba ni (藏文:དེ་ལས་འདས་པར་བཅངས་ན་ནི་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི་,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:དེ་ལས་འདས་པར་བཅངས་ན་ནི་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི་) means exceeding ten days. Spang ba'i ltung ba zhes bya ba ni (藏文:སྤང་བའི་ལྟུང་བ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི་,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:སྤང་བའི་ལྟུང་བ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི་) means after abandoning the object, one should confess the downfall. The fault in this is that if a monk obtains a robe, he should bless it within ten days, abandon it, allow it, or give it to others. If he does not do so, he will commit a downfall when the dawn of the eleventh day breaks. If the object that would cause a downfall is not confessed, not separated, or not abandoned, then from that time on, all the utensils that the monk obtains will become a downfall of abandonment. Even if ten days have not passed, there are cases where it becomes a downfall of abandonment, that is, the continuation of the previous ten days will cause abandonment. If the robe to be abandoned is carried away by water or burned by fire, since it cannot be abandoned, one should confess the fault. As soon as the robe is obtained, if the monk is disturbed in mind, or afflicted by illness and becomes unconscious, then from the day he regains consciousness, count ten days. Even if many robes are not blessed with mantras, there is no downfall even if they are kept until the end of life. Each day, some robes are taken out and blessed for others. There are also cases where there is no downfall even after ten days have passed, that is, the material of the robe is acceptable but the type is not, or both the material and the type are not acceptable. What is unacceptable is that mixed with the wool of ewes, cattle, goats, and deer, there is no downfall even after ten days have passed, only a minor offense. In the case where one would commit a downfall in ten days, there is no downfall even if one keeps it all the time. Within ten days is the transcendence of time. If one thinks that ten days have passed when they have not, or if one thinks that ten days have not passed when they have, all of these are minor offenses. Even if a mat is spread, there is a fault of exceeding ten days, that is, the monk spreads the mat of the Sangha without abandoning or confessing the robe that should be abandoned. Just as a monk would commit a downfall, so too would a nun and one who has been given precepts. The basis of separation is that the Blessed One Buddha was dwelling in Shravasti. At that time, many monks obtained many things, such as washing robes, weaving nets, sewing, changing colors, and so on.
