So, having mixed them together, Gyadbu Nor was again appointed to distribute food. Gyadbu Nor divided the food into three types: the best delicious food, the medium, and the worst. For the elderly monks, he first allocated the best delicious food there. The next day, he allocated the medium food. And the day after that, he allocated the worst food. At that time, from a place called Southern Mountain, two monks named Friend and Earthly (Mdz'a-bo and Sa-can) went on pilgrimage to the city of Rajagriha. These two asked, "Who is distributing food and bedding to the Sangha?" The answer was, "It is Gyadbu Nor." Then they went to Gyadbu Nor and said, "Please allocate bedding and food." At that time, the bedding and food had already been allocated, so they ended up getting the worst bedding last. A wealthy Brahmin was allocated food there, but that Brahmin was busy because his son had died. He asked, "Who will come here?" Having heard that Friend and Earthly would come, because of his bad conduct, he did not properly entertain and offer them, and gave them some bad food. The next day, medium food was allocated, and they still did not entertain them properly, giving them bad food. The day after that, bad food was allocated, so they received bad food. Then, the two of them thought, "Alas, we have suffered for a long time because Gyadbu Nor gave us bad food and clothes, and our bodies have become weak. We two must do something bad to that fellow." So they said to his friend, named Sister, "Sister, you sleep with Gyadbu Nor. Gyadbu Nor has committed a fundamental offense. Please report it to the Bhagavan, and we will also do four great things." That Bhikshuni also reported it to the Bhagavan. Then, the Bhagavan said to Gyadbu Nor, "Gyadbu Nor, did you hear or remember?" "Venerable, I do not remember." "Did you commit it?" "Venerable, whether I committed it or not, the Bhagavan knows." Then, the Bhagavan said to the Bhikshus, "Gyadbu Nor has not committed any offense, keep him mindful. As for the Bhikshuni Friend, scold her because she herself admitted it. As for the two Bhikshus, Friend and Earthly, ask them very carefully, where did you see it, how did you see it?
