Having practiced, the practitioner abandoned this place and went to the vicinity of the village. After arriving at the village, they lived mixed with women, monasteries, and monks, and again arose afflictions, thinking that although we have not committed a root downfall, let's still go to the village. They requested the venerable Ananda, 'Is it permissible to report to the Bhagavan?' After Ananda reported to the Bhagavan, the Bhagavan instructed, 'Except for arrogance.' After that, the Bhagavan spoke of the precepts that are pleasing to the precepts and that are primarily based on the precepts. He also said, 'Monks, except for arrogance, the former is prescribed, and this is permitted.' Thus he said. Again, the term 'who' for a monk refers to one who has received full ordination through petition and the four karmas. The term 'not directly knowing' refers to what is not directly known. That is, not directly knowing feelings, perceptions, formations, consciousness, etc., as existing and clinging to them as self. The term 'not fully knowing' refers to not fully knowing form, feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness as impermanent, suffering, selfless, and empty. The term 'human dharma' refers to what is obtained by them, but not obtained by the three lower realms, hermaphrodites, and those with two sets of genitals. The term 'becoming superior' refers to a desire realm being superior to the form realm, and a form realm being superior to the formless realm. Another explanation is that human dharma refers to the five obscurations. Whoever abandons these is said to have 'become superior.' The term 'end' refers to nirvana being called the end. The term 'noble ones' refers to the Buddha and the solitary Buddhas' Shravaka disciples being called noble ones. The term 'attaining distinction' refers to the four fruits of a contemplative, namely the fruit of stream-enterer, the fruit of once-returner, the fruit of non-returner, and the fruit of arhat, which are called attaining distinction. The term 'knowing' refers to the four knowings, namely knowing suffering, knowing origin, knowing cessation, and knowing the path. The term 'seeing' refers to the four seeings, namely seeing suffering, seeing origin, seeing cessation, and seeing the path. The term 'touching'.
