What is meant by "becoming the same" is that a fully ordained monk who has completed one hundred years also studies this precept; those who are newly fully ordained also study this precept. Thus, explaining the Pratimoksha Sutra in the same way is called having the same precept. What is meant by "not abandoning the precept" is, under what circumstances is the precept not abandoned? If a monk is overwhelmed by anger, or is insane, or is mentally disturbed, or is afflicted by illness, or perceives a solitary place as a non-solitary place, or perceives a non-solitary place as a solitary place, or speaks a borderland language to a noble one, or is in a noisy place, and also has no intention of abandoning it, seeks a monk, does not seek household affairs, naturally abides, and does not state it to a person who can understand language, then the precept is not abandoned. If a monk offers the precept to another, that is, to an insane person, or a mentally disturbed person, or a person afflicted by illness, or a mute person, or a deaf person, or a person who does not understand the language of the borderlands, or a sleeping person, or a person in meditative absorption, or a non-human, or a god, or an emanation, or an animal, or an image of the Buddha, then the precept is not abandoned. One who abandons the precept, to whom must one abandon it to be called abandoning? If a monk is unhappy and does not seek to practice, or is doubtful and slanders, goes to a monk and says, "Venerable one, please listen, my name is so-and-so, I abandon the precept." Or says, "I abandon the Three Jewels." Or says, "I abandon the Three Baskets." Or says, "I abandon the Preceptor and the Instructor." Speaking to a person who can understand language is called abandoning the precept. Or says, "I am a householder, or a novice monk, or a Zama, or a hermaphrodite, or a nun who has been expelled, or a patricide, or a matricide, or a murderer of an Arhat, or one who has caused dissension in the Sangha, or one who has drawn blood from the body of the Tathagata with malicious intent, or a heretic, or a thief, or one who dwells separately, or one who does not dwell, and finally says, 'We do not need to live with you people whose actions do not conform to the Dharma.'" Having said this, it is called abandoning the precept. What is meant by "having been destroyed" is that a monk does not seek to practice, is doubtful, goes to a monk and says, "Venerable one, please know, celibacy is extremely difficult, extremely solitary, dwelling alone.

Moreover, it is very difficult to live in a remote area, it is suffering. I miss my parents, brothers, and former teachers. If I say, "Please entrust it to my relatives and friends," using displeased and attached words to let others know, this is called violating the precepts. This is also violated by combining four situations: not offering the precepts and violating; offering the precepts but not violating; offering the precepts and also violating; not offering the precepts and also not violating. Among them, violating without offering the precepts is to say various displeased signs such as "missing father, not missing father," but not saying "offering the precepts." Among them, offering the precepts but not violating is to say "offering the precepts" in front of the agreed-upon, but not saying violating words such as "not missing parents." Among them, offering the precepts and also violating is to have both of the above two situations. Not offering the precepts and also not violating is not including the above-mentioned situations. Called "not practicing Brahmacharya," Brahmacharya is Nirvana, which is not in accordance with Nirvana, and produces non-meritorious Dharma, and having intercourse with women is not practicing Brahmacharya. Called "Dharma," because it holds its own nature, so this which is not Dharma is said to be the sound of Dharma. Called "doing," is behavior. Even saying, is a prostitute, and other similar things. Called "that," is a common word for indicating near and correct indication. Called "bhikshu," is to be fully ordained through the affairs of petitioning and requesting, and the matter has been completed, and whatever has the entity of a bhikshu is called a bhikshu. Called "Parajika," refers to the final downfall, like an incurable, definitive, dissimilar one. Whoever has such a downfall, once it happens, is not a bhikshu, not a son of Shakya, because he has lost the entity of a bhikshu, is a wanderer, a destroyer, is a Parajika of downfall, and cannot be restored to a bhikshu again. For example, if the head of a palm tree is cut off, it will not turn green, will not grow, will not increase and flourish, similarly, if a bhikshu also has a downfall of this kind of state, once it happens, he is not a bhikshu, not a son of Shakya, and cannot be restored to a bhikshu, therefore it is called Parajika.
