Therefore, the Sangha establishes the precepts through the rituals of supplication and request. Before the precepts were established, when the Venerable Shariputra and Maudgalyayana were going to a certain place, the caravan leader Lion invited the two monks, saying, "Please come here to receive offerings." After the precepts were established, the Six Groups of monks saw these two noble ones going to the caravan leader Lion's place and asked, "Where are the noble ones going?" They replied, "Going there for alms." They said, "Since the precept has been established that one should not go to his house, is it permissible to go there now?" The two replied, "We have already reported to the Buddha, and because we were invited before the precept was established, it is allowed." They further said, "If it is allowed because of a previous invitation, then even when the householder realizes the truth, one should go because of the invitation." The Six Groups of monks also went together. Previously, the two monks' food was not shared with them, but when the Six Groups joined, all the food was used up. The children of that family were hungry because of the lack of food, and they could not give immediately, crying and making "tsa tsa" sounds, which were more pleasant than singing. Therefore, they were scolded by the Bhagavan, and the training was established, saying, "If one knowingly goes to eat after the Sangha has given the precepts, one should confess individually." The term Sangha refers to the Shravaka disciples of the Tathagata. The term house of training refers to those who are above the stream-enterer stage and below the Arhat stage, all of whom are learners. The term house refers to the house of householders and Brahmins. The term knowing that the precept of training has been given refers to the ritual of supplication. Also, the term any monk refers to the Six Groups of monks, and others are similar to this. Thus, the term knowing that the Sangha has given the precept of training refers to informing. The term previously invited refers to those like Shariputra. The term previously not invited refers to the Six Groups of monks who went later. The term one's own hand refers to taking and eating oneself. The term go outside, go to the Sangha, refers to confessing to the monks residing in the monastery. The term will fall refers to a monk who has become a disciple of the Sangha in a householder's house of training, as soon as he knows that the precept has been given, goes without being invited, and takes food with his own hand and eats or cooks it, in any case, he must confess individually.

Except for being called. The origin of the four Pratimoksha vows is in the place of Shakya City. There, in a temple hall of a monastery, the Buddha and the Sangha entered the summer retreat. When the summer retreat ended, the Shakya people came to the Blessed One to listen to the Dharma. After listening to the Dharma, they developed faith and said, 'Tomorrow I will provide food offerings. Please do not go elsewhere tomorrow.' The Blessed One did not speak, and thus agreed. That night, they prepared nine kinds of delicious home-cooked food. The next day, they sent women ahead with a cart full of food. On the way, thieves attacked them, not stealing the food, but stealing the women's clothes and jewelry. The women ran back and told the householders, and the men went to chase the thieves. The women hid in the forest, and the food and drink were placed on the cart full of food, guarded by a craftsman. Later, the group of six monks thought, 'The Shakya people are very wealthy. They will be intoxicated by the offerings and forget about us. Let's go begging.' So they went. On the way, they saw the cart full of food and also found the women. They forcibly pulled the women over, treating them like mothers, and made them distribute the food naked. Those women also spoke harshly and insulted them. After they finished eating, they returned to the temple hall. Later, the thieves were caught, and the thieves were released. The Shakya people came to the temple hall and began to distribute food. The women did not distribute food to the group of six monks. The householders asked, 'Why don't you distribute food to them?' Those women said, 'They have already eaten, and they also speak ill of us, so we are not distributing to them.' Therefore, they were not allowed to distribute food. Later, others asked them if they had really eaten, and they admitted it. Later, the monks said, 'If there is such fear, monks are a race that eats food.' Because they did not believe, it was stipulated: 'In the future, if you encounter such fear and eat food, you must take the Pratimoksha vow.' Sangha refers to the Shravaka disciples of the Tathagata. The place of the monastery refers to a distance of five hundred bows, which is one Yojana. From the village to that distance is called a monastery. Whatever monastery is there is called the place of the monastery. Doubts and
