It has been reported that, for the sake of good food, it is not allowed to beg from other people's houses and eat without being sick, and the precepts have been established. The permission for being sick is that a bhikkhu was sick and asked the doctor: 'Venerable, please take milk, meat and dried fish, and you will recover.' 'Who will give me alms? Go to the city to beg, and someone will give it.' The Blessed One established the precepts. It was reported that it was not allowed to beg in the city, and then it was allowed when sick. The meaning of bhikkhu is one who enters this Dharma. The so-called good food refers to milk, yogurt, butter, fish, meat and dried meat. Again, the so-called bhikkhu refers to the group of six bhikkhus, and others similar to them. The so-called for oneself means not for others, but for oneself. The so-called not means except for being sick, it is allowed. The so-called in other people's houses refers to the houses of Brahmins and householders. The so-called bhikkhu refers to myself. The offense is the same as before. When begging for food without being sick, if one commits a misdeed while begging and eats it, one commits a transgression. If one begs when not sick and eats when sick, one commits a misdeed when begging. There is no transgression if one eats it. If one begs when sick and eats when not sick, there is no offense in begging. One commits a transgression if one eats it. If one begs when sick and eats when sick, there is no offense. When a bhikkhu is begging for alms, if someone asks: 'What does the venerable one need?' There is no offense in begging for it. The collection of food, the fortieth transgression is complete. The basis for not knowingly using water with living creatures is in the Jetavana Vihara in कौशाम्बी (Kauśāmbī, 憍赏弥, name of an ancient Indian kingdom). At that time, the venerable Mopa knowingly used water with living creatures. Those who wished the bhikkhus to practice purely and beneficially advised the venerable one: 'You should not use water with living creatures.' He did not listen to the advice, saying: 'Should we count these creatures? Why not pour them into the seas, lakes and ponds of the south, north, east and west?' Other bhikkhus heard this and began to mock him, and then reported this matter. They scolded him in various ways, saying that he had no compassion, etc. Therefore, the precept of not using water with living creatures was established. Again

A monk who is called a faithful one is similar to others. What is called knowing is either knowing oneself or being told by others. Living beings are of two kinds: visible and invisible, attached to water filters. What is called use is of two kinds: external use and internal use. Internal use is drinking, washing hands, and enjoying the body, such as yogurt, roots, fruits, etc., which contain living beings. External use is washing bowls, washing clothes, sweeping, making mandalas, etc. Similarly, land, plants, flowers, etc., which contain living beings, can also be included. Just like the failure of killing, it should be understood in this way. From the above transgression, using water with living insects, the difference is that the above transgression refers to water used for building temples and houses, etc. Here, it refers to the internal and external use of one's own body. If one thinks that living beings exist, or doubts, it will also lead to transgression. If one thinks that non-living things exist, or doubts, one will commit a minor offense. The origin of not allowing monks to stay in places where evil deeds are done is that when in Shravasti, at that time, the blessed one would wake up early in the morning, wash up, and go for alms. When in Shravasti, there was a market, and some merchants would display their goods at the market, and some would come early. There was a young incense seller who had just married a new bride and had evil thoughts, thinking of engaging in impure conduct, so he closed the door of the shop. In the morning, the Acharya, with the power of wisdom, noticed this and thought that he must stop him. So, the Acharya first went to the young man's wife and gave her teachings. The young man also came later and said to his wife, "Please let the venerable Acharya go to eat." The Acharya said, "I have come to give you teachings like someone who creates obstacles to good deeds. Why don't you listen to the Dharma? Listen to the Dharma!" So, the Acharya gave teachings without being trusted. After the Acharya left, the merchant was very surprised. My wife
