Should be done. Disputes about offenses are disputes about whether or not it is an offense, and about the severity, etc. Therefore, it should be pacified by the four methods of direct taming, seeking its nature, admitting, and spreading grass. Disputes about actions are that the matter itself is not fully understood, resulting in not being included in the actions such as requests, and not being included due to denying the scriptures, and disputes due to the occurrence of offenses are not included, etc. Since the actions can be accomplished, all seven methods of pacification must be used to pacify. If asked whether there are no seven methods of pacification through inquiry, or whether there are methods of pacification, and there are these two disputes, some die, or suffer from long-term illnesses, or leave, or return to lay life, it is said that if such a situation occurs, these seven methods of pacification are not needed. Venerable ones, I have finished speaking about the seven dharmas for pacifying disputes. I will ask the venerable ones, whether they abide in complete purity? I will ask twice, three times, whether they abide in complete purity? If the venerable ones are completely pure, why do they not speak? Then accept it as it is. Asking whether the sangha is completely pure is like asking about the remainder. Venerable ones, I have finished speaking about the beginning of the Pratimoksha Sutra. The four parajikas, the thirteen sanghavasesas, the two aniyatas, the thirty nissaggiyas, the ninety patayantikas, the four pratidesaniyas, the many sikshapadas, and the seven dharmas for pacifying disputes have all been spoken. These of the Bhagavan, Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, all belong to the Sutra and are summarized in the Sutra. Up to the end of speaking, it means that the meaning of the five offense divisions has been announced. In short, it is included through the path of the word "belonging to the Sutra." The so-called "summary of the Sutra" is also included by understanding the meaning. Furthermore, the so-called "belonging to the Sutra" means that what appears from the Sutra Pitaka, a branch of the Vinaya Pitaka, is also included in the Pratimoksha. The so-called "summary of the Sutra" means that the meaning of all the Sutras of the Vinaya Pitaka's hundred thousand sections is included in the Pratimoksha.

Whatever Dharma arises from others, and the Dharma of antidotes, you should also be harmonious, united, joyful, and without contention. Constantly guard your minds, remember and rejoice, and strive diligently. The so-called "Dharma arising from others" refers to the Dharma of Nirvana arising from the Sutra Pitaka other than the Vinaya. The conforming Dharma refers to the Dharma of practice of antidotes arising from the Sutra Pitaka. From "you" onwards, it is explained that one should be cautious and diligent with regard to the above two Dharmas. Among them, desire means not being destroyed by others, unity means that views have not become different, joy means being united in the aspect of virtue, non-contention means not contending in life and behavior, and constantly guarding the mind means not exceeding the consciousness of the object of the boundary of virtue. Remembrance means that whatever one does, one should first remember. Being cautious should be understood as being cautious in all aspects. From "Patience, asceticism, supreme" to "The path spoken of will be attained," it refers to how sentient beings acted before the Seven Buddhas did not establish the Vinaya, and the methods spoken of to prevent these behaviors. At the end, after establishing it in that way, now the compiler proclaims the Pratimoksha Sutra of the Seven Perfectly Enlightened Buddhas. Patience, asceticism, supreme, patience is: The Buddha said that Nirvana is the highest. If a renunciate harms others, is harmful to others, he is not a practitioner. The Tathagata Vipashyin Buddha said that one should look for liberation. The so-called "Patience, asceticism, supreme" refers to the asceticism of practitioners, that is, practicing patience by abandoning the Dharma of perverted minds. This shows that one should have faith in the cause of asceticism. The so-called "Patience can attain the most supreme Nirvana" refers to abiding in the transcendental path, from fully understanding suffering, obtaining the wisdom of patience, this is the supreme of Nirvana, which is what the Buddha said, which shows that one should have faith in asceticism. The so-called "Renunciates harm others, harming others is not a Shramana" refers to the renunciates of the heretics.
