It shows that one should be careful and diligent with the mind that transcends the world. Learn the places of the capable one. The term "capable one" refers to the Buddha, who is capable in body, speech, and mind. The "place of the capable one" refers to the Dharma to be practiced, such as the Noble Path. "Learn" means, as before, not to be attached to the taste of samadhi that transcends the world, but to learn and practice the Dharma to be practiced. "Always remember near peace" means, as before, because of learning, afflictions are always near to being pacified, and it is shown to be always accompanied by the memory of true wisdom. The protector is one who possesses as before, becoming the protector of sentient beings. "Not passing beyond suffering" means having abandoned afflictions. "Giving increases merit." The term "abandoning evil" indicates abandoning afflictions because the three roots are not seen until abandoning evil. Therefore, from miserliness to inverted wisdom, because the antidotes to unfavorable factors are seen, one will enter into the antidotes such as giving. Among them, "giving increases merit" means increasing and greatly increasing the antidote to miserliness. "Subduing does not transform enemies, etc." means that relying on correct discipline, enemies such as killing and sexual misconduct will not be transformed. "Possessing virtue and abandoning evil" means entering virtue with correct samadhi, thereby abandoning its categories, and it shows that the afflictions to be abandoned are destroyed by these three unseen things. "Afflictions are exhausted and suffering is transcended" means that with the wisdom to be abandoned by meditation, the afflictions such as desire are completely abandoned, and it shows that they should be made to cease. Do not commit any evil deeds, perform virtuous deeds perfectly, subdue and protect your own mind, this is the teaching of the Buddhas. This was spoken by the Buddha Shakyamuni. At that time, people engaged in various non-virtuous deeds, and even if they performed virtuous deeds, they thought that doing a little was enough. To counter this situation, the Buddha spoke these three and a half verses. Among them, "do not commit any evil deeds" means completely abandoning the ten virtues and so on. "Perform virtuous deeds perfectly" means that it is not enough to do a little, but virtuous deeds

It shows the completion of the ten perfections. Taming one's own mind is not enough with just the completion of the ten virtues; one must tame the mind that enters the three realms and then truly engage in yoga. What is called the Buddha's teaching is to practice as mentioned above, as taught by the Buddha Shakyamuni. The discipline of the body is good, the discipline of speech is good, the discipline of the mind is also good; in all places, discipline is good. This verse shows the method of practice. Among them, the discipline of the body is to abandon the three evil deeds of the body, such as killing. The discipline of speech is to abandon the four evil deeds, such as lying. The good discipline of the mind is to abandon wrong views, etc. The good discipline of all is to become complete in the ten virtues. A fully guarded monk is completely liberated from the three sufferings. Guarding speech, guarding well with the mind, not doing unwholesome deeds with the body, if one cultivates these three paths of action well, one will attain the path spoken of by the sages. These six roots show the merits of practice, and the remaining two roots are just conjunctions. Accumulating virtue means abandoning the words of evil places. Guarding well with the mind means not losing the memory of previous experiences. Not doing unwholesome deeds with the body means not begging for alms in villages of bad lineage. Cultivating the three paths of action means the complete purification of body, speech, and mind. Attaining the path spoken of by the sages means practicing as before, thereby attaining the noble path spoken of by the Buddha. Buddha Vipashyin, the crown of the head protects all. Cutting off wrong faith, Golden Stillness, Light Protector, and Shakyamuni, Gautama, god of gods. Unsurpassed tamer of beings. Protector of the world, supreme savior. The seven heroic Buddhas. The Pratimoksha of the renowned ones. This is extensively explained. It shows that the Sutra of the Pratimoksha of the Seven Buddhas has been explained. The subtle differences in the words are just conjunctions. What is called Gautama means showing as a jewel. What is called god of gods means that all seven Buddhas are the best of gods and humans, but the Buddha Shakyamuni is of the five degenerations...
