Going to the place where she was not sleeping, he awakened the queen with the sound of a bell. The queen, also covered in thin silk clothes, rose and paid homage. Then, as dawn closed his eyes, the queen also understood the meaning, put on thick clothes, received the Dharma, gave a full bowl in that mouth, and came out after dawn. Shariputra was giving teachings to the queen in the summer, and they met on the road as he entered the room. Dawn said: Can one exhaust defilements with such diligence? Shariputra said: If so, you are the group of six monks. The monk with few desires established the precepts. Before dawn, if the palace where the king and queen are, the door where the queen sleeps, is completely closed, it is a downfall. If you cross the city, you commit a minor offense. Do people like the king and queen summon you? There is no fault in going to subdue them. "The red mark has not appeared on the seal of the letter" means the time before dawn. The so-called "jewel" refers to a jewel or a precious jewel, placed on the king's pillow. The so-called "like a jewel" is for the protection of the body, a weapon blessed with mantras, or like a weapon placed on the pillow and spread out. The so-called "royal family is enthroned from the crown of the head" has two ways: the ministers receive it with the crown of their heads and enthrone the king; and the mantra master pours mantra water from the crown of the head to perform the enthronement. The so-called "such a cause" is, for example, if you are as confident as the queen who rises like the king, and the noble Shariputra subdues her at night, there is no fault even if you (transgress) slightly. His afflictions are unlawful. Also, if a monk says when reciting the Pratimoksha Sutra every half month: Venerable ones, how does this Dharma also belong to the Sutra Pitaka? I knew from the beginning that it was included in the Sutra Pitaka. If the monks know that this venerable one was present in two or three of the Uposatha ceremonies before, then there is no need to say more. Because he does not understand this venerable one, he cannot be liberated, and whatever offense he has committed should be dealt with according to the Dharma. On the Dharma seat, when you recite the Pratimoksha Sutra every half month, you treat the Dharma with contempt.

Not regarding listening as the guru, not cherishing, not keeping in mind, not being single-minded, not listening attentively. Not thinking with all one's mind, not listening to the Dharma, therefore, Venerable One, you have not attained. It is not attainment, it is not the attainment of goodness. Venerable One, what should be regretted is this, it is a downfall. When the Buddha was dwelling in Shravasti, the group of six did not listen with joy, faith, and respect. When they occasionally heard some downfalls, they said, 'We already knew such Dharma in the Sutras and Vinaya.' Then, the monks asked, 'You often do not come to the Posadha, did you already know?' The group of six said, 'Our actions are not only this, but we must also enter into the discriminations of desire and craving.' Therefore, the monks of few desires established the precepts. During the Posadha, if one speaks before others, it becomes a downfall. A new monk who has not experienced the Posadha says 'Now I hear it for the first time,' there is no fault. If the Sangha does not admonish before others, it is a misdeed. The difference in words is only a difference in expression. What is called 'without respect, not listening' refers to showing disrespect through improper conduct. There are also six ways, which are those mentioned below. Among them, not regarding as the guru is not having faith. Not acting according to the rules is not shaving the head. Not keeping in mind is not being pleased. Not being single-minded is being distracted externally. Not thinking with all one's mind, not listening to the Dharma, is being listless. These afflictions are disrespect. Furthermore, if any monk himself or instigates others to make bone needles or horn needles, it becomes a downfall. When the Buddha was dwelling in Shravasti, there lived a bone craftsman who liked the doctrines of the naked heretics. A mendicant monk tamed him, causing him to develop faith, and he promised to make offerings to the Sangha. But the monks, without considering, did not let him eat, but instead had him make bone needles and horn needles. Because of excessive demands, he became poor. The heretics said, 'When this bone craftsman was inclined towards us, he was rich and had possessions. But after he inclined towards the Shakya Dharma, due to the greed of the monks, he even has no food.' Therefore, the precepts were established. Such bone needles were made or instigated to be made
