By squeezing and other methods, touching in order to drop semen on the road, after the desire has subsided, having the Bhikkhuni Sbe-ma clean it, Sbe-ma taking out the dried semen and putting it into the opening of the womb, thereby causing pregnancy, therefore the rule was established. Becoming a relative means that the father's lineage has seven generations, and the mother's lineage has seven generations, this is a relative. Becoming old clothes means that one year is divided into four seasons, dividing the time of one season, this becomes old. If one Bhikkhuni is made to wash, cook, and keep, one commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. The object of clothing is one item, if three Bhikkhunis are made to do it together, one washes, one cooks, one keeps, then the object of Nissaggiya is one item, and the offense is three. Except for the three robes with mantras, if one has other clothes washed, or has new robes washed, one commits a Dukkaṭa. Knowingly entrusting to someone who is not a relative, or entrusting while doubting whether they are a relative, one commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. Thinking that they are a relative and entrusting, one commits a Dukkaṭa. Thinking that they are not a relative and entrusting, or doubting whether they are a relative and entrusting, one commits a Dukkaṭa. Knowingly entrusting to a relative, there is no Dukkaṭa. Here also there are four distinctions: the place is in Śrāvastī, the person is Chaga, the affliction is desire, the thing is entrusting to wash. Furthermore, any Bhikkhu who takes clothes from a Bhikkhuni who is not a relative, except for the following situations, commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. When the Buddha was staying in Śrāvastī, the Bhikkhu Nanda-ga took a piece of cloth from the Bhikkhuni Utpalavarna, and in front of the Buddha told the story of the Bhikkhuni's robes being old, therefore the rule was established. Exchanging clothes means that one can exchange two robes of the same quality. Even if there is a difference in quality, if it is offered out of faith, it can be exchanged. Because Bhikkhunis are not allowed to possess valuable clothes, even if exchanging with a Bhikkhu's old clothes, the Bhikkhu should give compensation. Situations where it is allowed to accept without exchanging are when it is offered after faith is generated after teaching the Dharma, offered at the time of ordination, or offered seasonal clothes. If the Bhikkhu leaves the clothes in front of the Bhikkhu and leaves, these are acceptable. Above there are four distinctions: the place is in Śrāvastī, the person is Nanda-ga,

Affliction is taking from disbelief, and greed is the monastic robe. If one exchanges clothes other than the monastic robe, it is a minor offense. Furthermore, if a bhikkhu goes to the wife of a householder who is not a relative and asks for clothes, unless it is the right time, it is an offense of expiation. When the Buddha was dwelling in Shravasti, the bhikkhu Nanda was once walking and staying at the gate of Jeta Grove Monastery. A householder named Dralama, who had wrapped his body with an upper and lower garment, came there. After Nanda preached the Dharma, he took the cloth at that time. The householder also offered it as if unwillingly. The one who offered food saw the householder naked and helpless, and said to Nanda: A bhikkhu is ordained to diminish desire, but Nanda, when you see a householder unwillingly robbed of clothes, it seems as if you are ordained to increase desire. Nanda said: When gods make offerings, there arises the phenomenon of pretas obstructing them. What fault is there in the householder voluntarily giving clothes? Therefore, he was criticized by others.

If it is carried away by water, go to a householder or a householder's wife who is not a relative and beg for clothes. If a Brahmin or a faithful householder wants to offer many clothes in season, that bhikshu should not accept more clothes than the upper and lower garments; if he accepts more than that, it is a nisyaya pacattika. When the Buddha was staying in Shravasti, forty bhikshus from the country of Vaka went to the country and were robbed by thieves. After their clothes were stolen, they arrived at Jeta Grove, and the Six Groups accepted many clothes from laypeople for the sake of the bhikshus. The good ones were taken by the bhikshus themselves, and the bad ones were given to the other bhikshus, hence the rule was established. In this regard, the scribe's other task is merely to convey the message. There are two types of upper and lower garments: the upper garment of a householder is twelve cubits long and seven cubits wide, and the lower garment is also seven cubits wide. If a very faithful person offers them in season, these two cloths may be accepted. For a bhikshu, the upper garment refers to the sewn Dharma robe, and he is entitled to take those materials in order, as well as one five-cubit-long lower garment. If he takes more than that, it is a nisyaya pacattika. This pacattika has four branches: the place is Shravasti, the person is the Six Groups, the affliction is great desire, and the object is accepting clothes from non-believers. For the sake of a bhikshu, a householder or a householder's wife who is not a relative saves some money for clothes, thinking, 'With this money for clothes, I will buy such and such clothes separately, and if a bhikshu named so-and-so comes, I will give him suitable clothes in due season.' If that bhikshu has some thoughts without being told beforehand, and goes to that householder or householder's wife, saying, 'Venerable one, for the sake of the money for clothes that was saved for me, it would be good if you would make such and such clothes for the Venerable one with that money for clothes, and give me suitable clothes in due season.' If the clothes are made, it is a nisyaya pacattika. When the Buddha was staying in Shravasti, a householder with a great temper, after the bhikshu Nanda preached the Dharma to him, developed faith. The householder couple
