Before long, the entire vegetable garden was ruined by filth, rendering all the vegetables unusable. The smell of the filth attracted foxes, which also rendered all the vegetables unusable. Then, the gardener, intending to sell the vegetables, got up early the next morning and went to the garden. When he saw that all the vegetables had been ruined by filth and eaten by foxes, making them unfit for sale, he sat there with his hand on his cheek, feeling dejected. At that moment, Nanda, thinking of him specifically, went in that direction and said, "Good sir, why are you sitting there so dejected?" He said, "Venerable one, this vegetable garden has been ruined by something with filth, and eaten by foxes, making it unfit for sale. Now, how am I to make a living?" Nanda said, "Miser, you shouldn't be so unhappy." As he began to scold him, the monks reported this to the Blessed One. The Blessed One instructed, "Therefore, my disciples should recite and learn the basis of discipline in this way: One should train oneself not to urinate or defecate in places where there is green grass. Except when all places are covered and there is no space. Just as with urination and defecation, one should also train oneself not to discard saliva, mucus, vomit, and leftovers in places where there is green grass." The Blessed One established the precepts. The place was Sravasti, the person was Nanda, the affliction was intolerance, and the offense was discarding urine, feces, and other things in places where there is green grass. Among these, 'One should train oneself not to urinate, defecate, spit, blow one's nose, vomit, or discard leftovers in places where there is green grass' means that a monk should not do such things as urinating and defecating in places where there is green grass, and should train oneself not to do so and not to discard them. Among these, here the fundamental offenses are classified. In the fundamental situation, if one does not train in that way, it becomes the basis for an offense of wrongdoing that must be confessed. The agent of this is the monk who does not discard urine, feces, and other things in places where there is green grass. For this, there is only one branch, which is the accomplishment of the fundamental. Preparation and

As for the practice of conduct itself, how should it be done, just like before. These are the one hundred and eleven precepts. // Unless harm occurs, one should learn not to climb higher than a person's height on a tree. The basis for this issue is the subsequent permission granted, and due to the subsequent permission, there are three situations. The basis for the enactment is that the Buddha Bhagavan resided in Jeta Grove in Anathapindika's Garden in Shravasti. In Shravasti, a householder was not allowed to start building a canopy for the Sangha in other houses. // Among these, what is not allowed as a foundation is a place with the presence of tiny creatures, namely places where snakes, scorpions, ants, and other creatures exist. A disputed foundation is one that relies on the residence of kings, deities, and heretical practitioners. There are also trees that should not be cut down and measurements. Namely, the king, stupa, householder, heretical practitioner, the nuns' rainy season residence, and trees that should not be cut down need to be cut down and measured. What is not allowed as a foundation is when, near the edge of an outer bow, inside there is a river, road, cliff, or well. Namely, relying on rivers, wells, roads, and cliffs. What is called "uninformed" means not informing the Sangha about the foundation. Namely, after the monk himself examines whether the foundation is clean, he reports to the Sangha and recites the request three times. The Sangha sends a monk to investigate. They seek help from the Sangha. The Vinaya-holding monk completes the donation ceremony and karma of informing the foundation through petition and two karmas. The characteristic of the measurement is half a cubit that meets the measurement, meaning one fathom of the Sugata. Internally, it is twelve, and the width is seven such measurements. The downfall of the action is that from the beginning of constructing a Sanghavasesa action of a house until the main structure is not reached, a gross offense is committed. Seeking land and tools from other places, as well as what is not allowed, disputed, not allowed to start, uninformed, and exceeding one purpose and measurement.
