May that root of virtue, from explaining individual liberation, whatever merit is accomplished, by this may all beings in the world, attain the state of the Able One. Thus it is said, whatever merit is accomplished by explaining this individual liberation, by this may all beings in the world, attain the state of the Able One, the Bhagavan Buddha, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, such is the concluding statement. The Able One is the Hearer and the Solitary Realizer. The Victorious One of that is the Thus Gone One. May all beings in the world attain that, thus all should dedicate in this way. The nature of the collection has been explained. Thus, since it is truly collected, this Sutra of Individual Liberation is truly collected, and it is also composed in the manner of three continuities. The banner of fame is renowned in the three realms, the sound of the holy Dharma proclaims the lion's roar, the all-knowing one has attained the treasury of jewels, the jewel of the crown of Brahma and Indra touches the feet. Having crossed the ocean of suffering without bottom or end, I prostrate with my head to the lord of beings. Saying thus, it shows the continuity of prostration. After that, the object of learning of the all-knowing one, the vessel of jewels, should be distinguished in the midst of the assembly of noble ones. From saying thus, that discipline is what should be protected, like the tip of a yak's tail. In between what is said thus, it shows the continuity of reciting the Sutra. At the end, by explaining individual liberation, whatever merit is accomplished, by this may all beings in the world, attain the state of the Able One. Saying thus, it shows the continuity of dedication. The Extensive Commentary on the Sutra of Individual Liberation, the Collection from All the Vinaya, is complete. By the command of the powerful and supreme lord, the great king Pal Lhatsenpo, translated, collated, and determined by the great Vinaya holder of the Sarvastivada school, the teacher Jinamitra of the Vaibhashika school of Kashmir, Sarvajñadeva, and the great translator of Tibet, the monk Cogro Lui Gyaltsen.
