Furthermore, the so-called not licking the hand means not licking any food that requires licking the hand, and one should learn to eat well in this way. Here, the establishment of the fundamental transgression is that if one does not learn in this way in the actual situation, it will become the basis of an evil deed that should be confessed. The agents here are the licking of the hand and the food itself. There is only one branch here, which is the accomplishment of the fundamental itself. Regarding the accomplishment of the preliminary actions and the preliminary actions of the preliminary actions, if there is anything inappropriate, it should be blamed, and this is the same as before. The sixty-fourth precept is complete. The basis for learning to eat without soiling the alms bowl is: The Buddha Bhagavan was residing in Anathapindika's Grove in Jeta's Grove in Shravasti. When the Six Groups were eating alms in other people's homes, they soiled their alms bowls, and the monks said: Venerable ones, why do you do such unsightly things? They said: Venerable ones, whatever is the essence, we are attached to that. In those situations where they were being reproached, the monks reported to the Bhagavan, and the Bhagavan, as before, established the training to eat without soiling the alms bowl. The place was Shravasti, the people were the Six Groups, the affliction was unsightliness, and the fault was soiling the alms bowl. The so-called not soiling the alms bowl means not soiling with one's fingers any alms bowl that needs to be soiled, and one should learn to eat well in this way. Here, the establishment of the fundamental transgression is that if one does not learn in this way in the actual situation, it will become the basis of an evil deed that should be confessed. The agents here are soiling the alms bowl and the food itself. There is only one branch here, which is the accomplishment of the fundamental itself. Regarding the accomplishment of the preliminary actions and the preliminary actions of the preliminary actions, if there is anything inappropriate, it should be blamed, and this is the same as before. The sixty-fifth precept is complete. The basis for learning to eat without shaking one's hands is: The Buddha Bhagavan was residing in Anathapindika's Grove in Jeta's Grove in Shravasti. When the Six Groups were eating alms in other people's homes, they shook their hands.

Because (someone) flicked (water from their hands), the monks were hit by the water from the hands, and they scolded them. At that time, the monks reported to the Bhagavan. The Bhagavan, as before, established the precept, teaching (the monks) not to flick the water from their hands while eating. The place was Shravasti; the subjects were the group of six monks; the affliction was negligence; the offense was flicking the hands while eating. The so-called "not flicking the hands" means not flicking off the food stuck to the hands, or not flicking the food stuck to the hands onto the tongue. One should eat properly in this way. Here, the fundamental transgression is distinguished and analyzed. In the fundamental case, if it is not done that way, it will become the basis for a confession of wrongdoing. The agent here is the flicking of the hands and the food itself. The branch here is one, which is the accomplishment of the fundamental itself. Regarding the combination and the accomplishment of the combination of combinations, etc., if there is anything inappropriate, it should be rebuked as before. The sixty-sixth training is complete. The origin of teaching (the monks) not to shake the bowl while eating is: The Buddha Bhagavan was residing in Anathapindika's Grove in Jeta's Grove in Shravasti. When the group of six monks were eating porridge in another person's house, a monk wearing a red robe was sitting below them. The group of six monks said, "Happy Near-Joy, this beggar is thinking, we have never seen anyone dressed like this before, let's make him unhappy." They shook the bowl, and the monk's robe was soiled by the water from the bowl, so he began to scold them. At that time, the monks reported to the Bhagavan, and the Bhagavan, as before, established the precept, teaching (the monks) not to shake the bowl while eating. The place was Shravasti.
