Thus, the rule of learning was established. The place was the land of the Shakya clan, the people were the group of six, the defilement was that which was not in accordance with the Dharma, and the offense was to pat each other's shoulders and go to other people's homes. The so-called not patting each other's shoulders means not patting each other's shoulders with others, therefore one should be strictly restrained and learn to go to other people's homes. Here, if one does not learn the root downfall in accordance with the Dharma, it will become the basis of the offense to be confessed. The agent here is patting each other's shoulders, and other people's homes. The branch here is one, namely the practice of the root itself. As for the preliminary practice and the practice of the preliminary practice, one should be rebuked as appropriate, which is the same as before. The twenty-ninth precept is completed. The story of learning not to go to other people's homes holding hands is: The Buddha, the Bhagavan, was residing in the Nyagrodha Grove in the land of the Shakya clan. The group of six were holding hands and thinking of going to other people's homes, when a person adorned with incense and flowers, treating the world as if it were a child, came along. The group of six said: Joyful one, near joyful one, poor one, this person is treating the world as if it were a child, what is going on? The group of six thought, this person has never held incense and flowers before, let's not be happy with this kind of person coming here. Thus, they held each other's hands, you held his hand, and they pushed him to the ground. That person said: What have I done to offend you? Poor one, what are you thinking in your heart? The group of six thought, this person has never held incense and flowers before, so let's not make him happy. They insulted him, pushed him, and spoke harshly to him. At that time, the monks reported to the Bhagavan, and the Bhagavan thought, what those householders are saying is true, so as before, he established the rule of learning not to go to other people's homes holding hands. The place was the land of the Shakya clan, the people were the group of six, the defilement was that which was not in accordance with the Dharma, and the offense was to go to other people's homes holding hands. The so-called not holding hands

That is, one should not walk hand in hand with others. One should be strictly restrained and taught to go to other people's homes. Here, if one does not teach as it is, it constitutes a fundamental downfall, becoming the basis for an act of wrongdoing that should be confessed. The agent of this is holding hands and other people's homes. The branch of this is only one, namely the accomplishment of the fundamental. As for the preliminary practice and the accomplishment of the preliminary practice, it should be determined according to the circumstances, as mentioned earlier. "One should be strictly restrained and taught to go to other people's homes," etc., up to this point, should all be understood as an explanation of "One should be strictly restrained and taught to go to other people's homes." The origin of these, namely the so-called "in the place of Serkya," should be known from other treatises, that is, in the place of Serkya, when the father and son were ordained from the womb, the six groups and other newly ordained ones established this precept from among them. This is the thirtieth precept. In summary, "Should sit in nine ways," etc., the sutra summarizing the precepts mentioned in this is: Without being advised, one should not sit on a mat in another person's home. One should not not examine the mat, one should not press with the weight of the whole body, one should not cross the legs, one should not cross the thighs, one should not place the ankles on the knees, one should not bend the feet, one should not spread the feet, one should not cover the lower body, one should teach to sit on a mat in another person's home. These are it. The origin of this is: The Buddha, the Bhagavan, was dwelling in Jeta Grove, Anathapindika's Garden in Shravasti. In Shravasti, there was a Brahmin who desired cleanliness, and a bed was laid out in the gatehouse, and a girl was holding a whisk, chasing away flies. The venerable Near Joy went to his house for alms, and he said: Girl, go to the Brahmin and tell him that Near Joy is at the door. She said: Venerable, I am here chasing away flies, I cannot go. He said: Girl, if that is so, I will guard for a while, you go and tell him. After she left, Near Joy with his feet
