The groups of monks, bending their arms and going to other people's houses, were seen by Brahmins and faithful householders, who rebuked them, saying: 'Venerable ones, you are like vagrants, gamblers, and illegitimate children. This is not proper, please do not walk like this.' They said: 'Wise ones, there is a need for this.' 'Venerable ones, what is the need? First of all, you yourselves are ignorant and untaught.' Hearing them begin to rebuke widely, at that time the monks reported to the Blessed One. The Blessed One thought: 'What the householders say is true.' So he made a rule to teach, as before, not to bend the arms when going to other people's houses. The place was Kapilavastu. The persons were the group of six monks. The affliction was improper conduct. The offense was bending the arms and going to other people's houses. Among these, the so-called 'not bending the arms' is also a distinction of action, so strictly restrain in this way and teach not to bend the arms when going to other people's houses. Among these, regarding the establishment of the root downfall here, if one does not teach in this way in the root situation, it will become the root of an offense to be confessed. The agent here is bending the arms and going to other people's houses. There is only one limb here, namely the accomplishment of the root. Regarding the combination and the accomplishment of the combination, if there is any, it will be blamed as before. The twenty-seventh training. The introduction to the training of not turning the head when going to other people's houses is: The Buddha, the Blessed One, was staying in the Nigrodharama in Kapilavastu. The group of six monks, turning their heads and going to other people's houses, were seen by Brahmins and faithful householders, who rebuked them, saying: 'Venerable ones, you are like elephants and animal fleas. This is not proper, please do not walk like this.' They said: 'Wise ones, there is a need for this.' 'Venerable ones, what is the need? First of all, you yourselves are ignorant and untaught.' Hearing them begin to rebuke widely, at that time the monks

They petitioned the Bhagavan, and the Bhagavan contemplated, thinking that what those householders were saying was true. As before, he made a rule to teach them not to turn back, but to go to other people's houses. The place was the land of the Shakyas (now in Nepal), the people were the group of six, the affliction was that which was not in accordance with the Dharma, and the fault was turning back and going to other people's houses. Among these, not turning back to receive is also a distinction of action, and in such a way that they do not turn back, they should be strictly restrained and taught to go to other people's houses. Here, if the root downfall is classified, if such teaching is not done in the root situation, it will become the root of a confessed misdeed. The agent here is the one who turns back, and the other house itself. There is only one branch here, namely the accomplishment of the root itself. As for the application and the accomplishment of the application of the application, it should be reproached as appropriate, just as before. The twenty-eighth precept is finished. The basis for teaching them to go to other people's houses without pulling their arms is: The Buddha Bhagavan was dwelling in the Nyagrodha monastery in the land of the Shakyas (now in Nepal). The group of six were pulling arms and going to other people's houses, when a man adorned himself with incense and flowers, thinking of the world as if it were his son, and walked. The group of six said: "Happy one, near happy one, poor one, this one walks thinking of the world as if it were his son. It seems as if the group of six has never held incense and flowers in his heart's path. Come here, we will not make him happy." They did so, and there they pulled each other's arms, and also pulled the arms of others, and threw him to the ground. The man said: "What wrong have I done to you? Poor one, what are you thinking in your heart's path?" The group of six thought, "It seems as if you have never held incense and flowers, so we will not make you happy." They scolded him, pushed him, and spoke harshly. At that time, the monks petitioned the Bhagavan, and the Bhagavan contemplated, thinking that the householder was being scolded there, and as before, they went to other people's houses without pulling arms.
