The origin of not squinting and learning to go to other houses is: The Blessed One Buddha was staying in the Nyagrodha Garden in the place of Shakya. The Six Groups squinted and went to other houses, and they were tied together with mad elephants, as well as mad horses, and mad chariots, and mad pedestrians, tied with ropes and driven away, they fell in unclean places and dirty pits and in piles of rags. Having been seen by Brahmins and faithful patrons, they began to scold: "Saints, why do you look like stargazers and those who close their eyes? What's wrong with looking at the ground? This is not in accordance with the rules, do not walk around so absent-mindedly!" They said, "Wise ones, there is a need for this." "Saints, what is the need? First of all, you yourselves are ignorant and have not been taught." Hearing their widespread rebuke, at that time the monks reported to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One thought, "The words of the householders are true." So, as before, he established the precept of not squinting and learning to go to other houses. The place is the place of Shakya, the people are the Six Groups, the affliction is not in accordance with the rules, the fault is squinting and going to other houses. Among them, not squinting means not being dazzled, so one must restrain oneself very much and learn to go to other houses. Here, the classification of the root downfall is that if one does not learn in that way in the root situation, it will become the root of the twice-done that should be confessed. The author here is squinting and the other house itself. The branch here is one, namely the realization of the root itself. For the accomplishment of the preliminary practice and the preliminary practice of the preliminary practice, one should be blamed as appropriate, just as before. The fourteenth training ends. The origin of looking at the length of the yoke and learning to go to other houses is: The Blessed One Buddha was staying in the Nyagrodha Garden in the place of Shakya. The Six Groups looked at other houses with their eyes for a long time, their behavior was improper, and the road disappeared.
