If one abides in the absence of arising and ceasing, and if the essence also becomes one, then there is no fault. When closing the doors of those places, if one transcends the outer dangers, moats, etc., and the inner boundaries, and when closing the meditation chamber, if one transcends the double boundary of the door bolt from the door to the inside, then there is no fault. The one who confesses the transgression, alone or with any companion, has no fault. From dusk until dawn has not appeared, there is no fault. Except for the king, queen, youth, minister, obstacles, and the power of taming, there is no fault. The agent here is the Bhikshu king, queen, youth, minister, obstacles, and those who do not act by the power of taming, and the place where the queen's retinue resides, or the king's palace, and in those circumstances where one is connected with going, one is mainly mindful of it not being dawn. In this, the five branches become the root transgression, namely the Bhikshu king, queen, youth, minister, obstacles, and those who do not act by the power of taming, and one's own going to any place where the queen's retinue resides or the king's palace, and in that circumstance, the last dawn has not appeared and it is not dawn, and being mindful there, and closing or not closing its latch nearby, whether looking outward or looking inward, one has transgressed. If those branches are incomplete, then there is a fault accordingly. The transgression of preparation is a misdeed, that is, as long as one begins the preparation with the transgression of going to the king's palace at night, until one does not encounter the essence, it is a misdeed. For each different preparation made for the essence, there is a misdeed. If it is related to the city's place for that very purpose, then it is a misdeed. If one enters another house before dawn, it is a misdeed. The transgression of the preparation of preparation is a minor misdeed, that is, as many preparations as there are, so many preparations of preparation there are, that is, the preparation of the misdeed of preparation is also a misdeed, that is, it is a minor misdeed. There is no transgression there.

There is no downfall for the unconscious. There is no downfall for entering during the day. There is no downfall for entering for other purposes. There is no downfall for going by the authority of the king and queen, young people and ministers, obstacles, and discipline. There is no downfall for the beginner, the mad, the disturbed, and those afflicted by feelings. What is to be learned is that a monk should learn not to engage in all forms of conduct that lead to downfall by going to the royal palace at night in all places and at all times. One should not enter the royal palace without being dissuaded. Remedying it is the same as before. The eighty-second downfall of going to the royal palace at night has been explained. The basis for the downfall of violating the object of the training is that the Buddha, the Bhagavan, was dwelling in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove, in the Garden of Anathapindada. The Bhagavan commanded that the Pratimoksha Sutra should be recited every half month. When the monks recited the Pratimoksha Sutra every half month, the group of six did not listen to the Dharma with respect, did not regard it as a teacher, did not regard it as a pillar, did not keep it in mind, did not concentrate, did not listen attentively, and did not listen to the Dharma with all their minds. And they said to the monks, "Venerable ones, we now know that this Dharma also belongs to the Sutra Pitaka and is included in the Sutra Pitaka." The monks said to them, "Venerable ones, have you only now heard the recitation of the Pratimoksha Sutra? Why do you say that?" They said, "Venerable ones, do we only have so little to do? We also need to analyze the thoughts of desire, and we also need to properly analyze the thoughts of harm and the thoughts of violence." Then, those monks with few desires questioned, "Why do the monks not listen to the Dharma with respect, not regard it as a teacher, not
