The Bhikshuni of Charkha (place name), with words of faith, requested to be allowed to seek her own nature. The Venerable said: "Like this, say nothing and accept it as it is." After that, she should arrange to practice the code of conduct of residing in another place until she has not made a commitment: Just as the precepts are given, until one has not attained the Arhat fruit, all the codes of conduct that have been established, these are also the codes of conduct. She should not manifest, prostrate, stand up, join palms, and perform respectful actions to those who abide in the nature of Bhikshus. Those who abide in the nature of Bhikshus should also not do these to her. One should not walk together with those who abide in the nature of Bhikshus, unless it is to avoid the sound of footsteps. One should not sit on a seat lower than that of those who abide in the nature of Bhikshus. One should not go to other people's houses, unless one is a Shramanera following behind. One should not make a bed without being together. One should not give ordination, full ordination, give residence, or give upasaka vows. One should not promise to do requests and karmas. One should not promise to be a karma-doer, a teacher of Bhikshunis, and to be firmly appointed by the Sangha. Those who have been appointed before should also not do it. Even if one is appointed as a teacher of Bhikshunis, one should not teach. Even if there are no other reciters, one should not recite the Pratimoksha Sutra during the Uposatha. One should not blame those Bhikshus who have not separated from the Sangha for the loss of discipline, views, conduct, and way of life. One should not do actions with speech and with pegs. One should not arrange instructions, Uposatha, release, requests, and speech. One should not sit on an equal level with those who abide in their own nature. Giving her permission to seek her own nature, one should avoid the faults that are the cause of it. One should also avoid other faults. One should not do things that are in accordance with the faults of those who practice Brahmacharya. One should think: If one does not practice all the established codes of conduct, then asceticism will become meaningless.

The doors of the temple should be opened, and the oil lamps extinguished. The temple should be cleaned with brooms, dusters, and soft oil. The places for monks' excrement and urine should be cleaned. The ground should be swept there, and water appropriate to the time should be placed. The cobwebs of the temple should be removed. The seats for the monks should be arranged. The time for offerings should be known. Incense and incense burners should be placed properly. If one is able, one should truly proclaim the qualities of the teacher. If one is not able, one should entrust it to a speaker. When laying out the common utensils for the monks' meals, the ghanta (gandi) should be struck. If the monks are hot, fans should be used to cool them. Their seating and so forth are the boundaries of all those who have received full ordination. After the work of eating is done, the seat should be quietly arranged. The base of the bowl should be discarded. The time should be known, and the stupas should be swept. They should be anointed with soft oil. At the time of the monks' gathering, from the laying out of the seats to the true proclamation of the teacher's qualities, all should be done. If one is able, one should speak the date. If one is not able, one should entrust it to another monk. In the evening, the feet of the monks should be washed with water appropriate to the time. In the evening, the feet of the monks should also be washed. If the monks do not wish to wash and anoint their feet, oil should be offered. That is most suitable for the temple. In all respects, one should be in control of what is obtained. One should not be distracted from the side of virtue. By giving the investment of seeking its essence, one should not accumulate common use for monks who do not naturally abide, who have not risen in the Sangha, and who have completely severed the relationship of monks from that place. One should not completely abandon many monks. One should strive to use it together with the elders and those who possess the Pratimoksha vows. There is no fault in spending the night in another border area, except for the number to replenish the Sangha. Its common use should be used for the Sangha. Giving the investment of seeking its essence, it is not permitted to be used in a Sangha of one border area for more than four people. One should be in harmony with the Sangha with one hundred and one activities. Learning
