If the discussion includes fundamental transgressions, if one does not remember, then how should the discussant view, hear, or recall through doubt from which place, time, and basis the transgression occurred? After discussing and recalling in this way, if one does not make distinctions, then one should make statements that include expression, one should not make choices, one should avoid idle talk, etc., one should establish the Uposatha, one should establish prohibition and permission, and one should perform rituals that include pegs. Then, distinguish the circumstances and become gentle, and if one admits through discussion, that is the ultimate, because if one admits, the dispute will be pacified. After that, the order of establishing the four great questions should be done as follows: In this way, if the discussant is discussing, and the one being discussed, even if he distinguishes the circumstances, does not admit the time and place, behavior, and subsequent actions, then at that time one should ask the four great ones. The four great ones are: the speaker truthfully sees, and any householder who is most excellent in merit is taken as a measure. If it includes others, then one should comply with the words. If it becomes doubt, then one does not understand, so one should not begin. If the four great ones become certain through truthfully seeing and being most excellent in merit, then it is the same as if one has admitted oneself. After that, the order of establishing admission should be done as follows: In this way, if the discussant is discussing, whether or not relying on proof such as asking the four great ones, a bhikshu should not hide transgressions, because there is a reason, and if he remembers including transgressions, he should admit to the Sangha. If that transgression is removed according to the Dharma, then the dispute arising from the transgression itself will be pacified. After that, for forgetting to admit, the order of giving the combination of directing to seek its own nature and certain holding should be done as follows: For a person who includes transgressions, after the discussant has discussed, if he remembers the transgression and admits to the Sangha, and after that, if he distinguishes it because of forgetting, then if it is unclear, because of the fault of his own nature, he includes the transgression itself, then for him, the Sangha should give the combination of directing to seek its own nature and certain holding, because after he has sought his own nature

Because it can be found, if one gives what is combined with this fixed holding, then the dispute arising from the offense will be pacified. The so-called "causing to seek its own nature" means that if someone talks about a person with an offense, and this person remembers the offense and confesses to the Sangha, and then forgets and cannot recognize it, then the Sangha should give what corresponds to the nature of the offense caused by his own fault, with a request and four karmas, and give what is combined with this fixed holding. If this person dwells in another place and his behavior should be given "causing to seek its own nature," then he should be given "causing to seek its own nature" and give what is combined with this fixed holding, so that the dispute will be pacified. Giving this "causing to seek its own nature" should be regarded as similar to giving the precepts, giving joy and satisfaction, and other ways of dwelling elsewhere. After receiving this, one can seek its own nature, and if one fully knows the nature of this offense, the Sangha should forgive this person, and then this person will return to his original nature. Some people explain this as a way of rebuke, but this contradicts the Sutra which says, "It should be requested by himself to the Sangha," so it is unreasonable. In this regard, the order of giving "causing to seek its own nature" is established as follows: This person personally requests the Sangha, the Sangha requests this person, gives "causing to seek its own nature" with four karmas, and this person should practice the behavior of dwelling elsewhere until he confesses. If this person sees the offense and asks for forgiveness, he will be able to regain his original nature. In this regard, the order of this person personally requesting the Sangha, etc., should be done as follows: This person arranges his own dwelling, strikes the gandi (gaṇḍī), and admonishes the monks with words of inquiry. After all the Sangha have gathered and are in harmony, he takes off his shoes, squats at the end of the elders, joins his palms and bows, and recites the mantra of requesting "causing to seek its own nature" three times. The mantra is as follows: Venerable Sangha, please listen. I, the monk

If the Bhikshuni Charka, with convincing words, does not seek help in walking, standing, sitting, or lying down, and does not remember, and the Sangha talks about me for that reason, I, Bhikshuni Charka, request the Sangha to allow me to seek her true nature. I beseech the compassionate Sangha to allow me, Bhikshuni Charka, to seek her true nature for the sake of compassion. Repeat three times. This is what is said. This own request ritual and mantra are not found in the Vinaya Pitaka nowadays, therefore some show this as a compulsory method. What is written here is extracted from the Sutra Pitaka. After that, the order of granting the Sangha's request and the four karmas to allow the search for her true nature is arranged as follows: After that, one Bhikshu makes a request and performs the karma. This mantra is: Venerable Sangha, please listen. The venerable Charka Bhikshuni, with convincing words, does not seek help even in walking, nor in standing, nor in sitting, nor in lying down. If the Sangha deems it timely and permissible, please allow the Sangha, the Sangha allows the venerable Charka to seek her true nature with convincing words. This is the request. Venerable Sangha, please listen. This venerable Charka, with convincing words, does not seek help even in walking, nor in standing, nor in sitting, nor in lying down. Therefore, if the Sangha allows the venerable Charka to seek her true nature with convincing words, then those venerable ones who allow the venerable Charka to seek her true nature with convincing words, please remain silent. Those who do not allow, please speak. This is the first karma statement, repeat it twice, three times in the same way. The Sangha allows and permits, the Sangha allows the venerable
