If a bhikkhuni knowingly arranges for food to be eaten, she commits a pācittiya offense unless she was previously invited to a house, this is the rule established by the Buddha. The place is Sāvatthi. The person is a bhikkhu who is alms-seeking. There are no defilements or faults. Among them, "bhikkhu" refers to the Group of Six or anyone else like that. "Knowingly" means being aware despite being obscured by sleep or being told by others. "Bhikkhuni" refers to a follower of this Dharma. "Arranging" refers to two kinds of arranging: arranging through the precepts and arranging through hearing. "Food" refers to the five kinds of food and the five ways of eating. "Food" refers to even if it is not in the throat. "Unless previously invited to a house" refers to excluding the case where one was previously invited to a house as a guest. "Commits a pācittiya offense" means the same as before. So, how does a pācittiya offense arise? Here, too, one needs to understand the characteristics of this by determining the pācittiya offense through the basis, the action, and the action of the action, as well as the absence of a pācittiya offense, what should be learned, and the remedies. Among them, determining the basis of the pācittiya offense here is that if the donor has not invited the bhikkhuni, and the bhikkhuni, with those who do not possess genuine qualities, arranges for food through verbal expression, or even if invited, the bhikkhuni, with those who do not possess genuine qualities, arranges for leftover food through verbal expression, if the bhikkhu, being aware of this, eats it, it becomes the basis of the pācittiya offense of eating food arranged by a bhikkhuni. If the donor has invited the bhikkhuni, and the bhikkhuni, with those who do not possess the qualities of morality, learning, and the fruits of these two, namely, stream-enterer, once-returner, non-returner, arhat, holder of the sutras, holder of the Vinaya, holder of the Matrika, arranges for food through verbal expression, if the bhikkhu, being aware of this, eats it, there is no fault. If the donor has invited the bhikkhuni, and the bhikkhuni, with those who do not possess genuine qualities, arranges for leftover food through verbal expression, if the bhikkhu, being aware of this, eats

There is no fault in inviting. A donor, a human being who has become a householder, who is alive, not a eunuch, hermaphrodite, or of two genders, whether male or female, has no fault. A monk who is not invited and who is invited has no fault. A fully ordained nun who arranges (food) with relatives and non-relatives of equal status has no fault. Arranging (food) in a non-genuine way by those who have merit, discipline, learning, and the eight noble persons who are the fruits of these, and anyone who possesses the three baskets has no fault. There is no fault in arranging (food) by entrusting with words and by means of verbal expression. There is no fault in any of the five edible foods and the five chewable foods. In the increase of the three remaining foods, sprouts (extracted) from root vegetables, milk (extracted) from sheep's milk, pickled vegetables etc. (extracted) from salt that changes the taste, sprouts (extracted) from female roots, mixtures etc. (extracted) from drinks mixed with acid, burdens of malt etc. (extracted) from burdens of peas and lentils, meat sauces etc. (extracted) from spicy and sour, malt water etc. (extracted) from brown sugar water, coarse rice, Salu rice porridge (extracted) from coarse grain porridge, pea flour (extracted) from pea and lentil flour, various meats (extracted) from bean paste, like the amount of malt sauce, yogurt and milk etc., there is no fault in arranging any of these extra. Food is also arranged by the nun, and the monk also knows this, and there is no fault in eating with hesitation. There is no fault in swallowing after eating. The author here is mainly the one who is aware that the (food) is arranged by the nun. For this, both the case where the nun is not invited and the case where she is invited, it becomes a fundamental downfall due to six branches. For the case where she is not invited, it is the fact that she is not invited itself, the non-genuine merit of the nun, the verbal expression, the arrangement of food, the monk knowing this and eating the food. For the case where she is invited, it is the fact that she is invited itself, the non-genuine merit of the nun, the verbal ex-
