ན་པས་དེས་དགེ་འདུན་ལ་བསྔོས་ཏེ་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་རྟ་བབས་མཐོན་པོ་དང་ལྡན་པ། སྐར་ཁུང་དང་སྐར་ཁུང་དྲ་བ་ཅན་དང་ལན་ཀན་གྱིས་བརྒྱན་པ། སྙིང་དང་མིག་འཕྲོག་པར་བྱེད་པ་མཐོ་རིས་ཀྱི་ཐེམ་སྐས་སུ་གྱུར་པ། ཁྲི་དང་ཁྲིའུ་དང་ཡོ་བྱད་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པ་ཞིག་བྱེད་དུ་བཅུག་སྟེ། དེར་དགེ་སློང་དྲུག་ཅུས་དབྱར་དགག་དབྱེ་བྱས་ཏེ་དོང་ནས། ཇི་ཙམ་དུས་གཞན་ཞིག་ན་དགེ་སློང་གཞན་དྲུག་ཅུ་ལྗོངས་གྱུ་ཞིང་འགྲོ་བ་ན་དེར་ལྷགས་ནས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེས་ཡོ་བྱད་སྣ་ཚོགས་བསྟབས་ཏེ་དེར་དབྱར་གནས་པར་ཁས་བླངས་སོ། །ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེ་དང་རི་བྲགས་དེའི་ཉེ་འཁོར་ན་ཡང་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་གཞན་མེད་པས་དེ་དག་སྦྱིན་པ་དག་བྱ་བར་སེམས་པ་གང་ཡིན་བ་དེ་ཐམས་ཅད་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་དེ་ཉིད་དུ་སྦྱིན་ཞིང་བྱེད་པས་དེར་དབྱར་གནས་པར་ཁས་བླངས་པའི་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ལ་རྙེད་པ་མང་པོ་བྱུང་ངོ༌། །སྟོན་ཟླ་ཐ་ཆུངས་ཀྱི་གཡོན་ཅན་དག་གིས་དེ་ཐོས་ནས་དགེ་འདུན་ཚེས་བཅུ་བཞི་ལ་མཚན་མོ་ཆོས་སྒྲོག་པའི་ཚེ་ནང་དུ་བརྟུལ་ནས་དགེ་སློང་དག་བཅོམ་ནས་གོས་ཕྲོགས་ཏེ། དོང་བ་དང༌། དགེ་སློང་དེ་དག་ཀྱང་མཚན་མོ་སྒྲེན་མོར་མཉན་ཡོད་ན་དོང་ནས་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་དགེ་སློང་དག་ལ་གོས་ཀྱི་བགོ་བཤའ་བྱས་པའི་སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང༌། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དེ་ལྟ་བས་ན་དགེ་སློང་དགོན་པ་པས་ཆོས་གོས་གསུམ་ལས་ཆོས་གོས་ཡང་རུང་བ་ཁྱིམ་གཞན་དུ་གཞག་པར་བྱའོ། །དེར་ཉལ་བར་མི་བྱའོ། །དེར་སྐྱ་རེངས་འཆར་བར་མི་ཁྱའོ། །གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་ཉིད་དུ་སྐྱ་རེངས་འཆར་བར་བྱའོ། །དགེ་སློང་དགོན་པ་པས་ཞག་དྲུག་གི་མཐའ་ཚུན་ཆད་དུ་ཆོས་གོས་དེ་དང་མཚམས་ཀྱི་ཕྱི་རོལ་དུ་འབྲལ་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་རྗེས་སུ་གནང་བ་དང༌། དགེ་སློང་དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་བསམས་བཞིན་དུ་ཞག་བདུན་དུ་འབྲལ་བར་བྱེད་པའི་སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བྱུང་བ་འདི་དང་གླེང་གཞི་འདི་དང་སྐབས་འདི་ལ་དགེ་སློང་གི་དགེ་འདུན་བསྡུ་བ་མཛད་དེ། དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་ལ་སྨྲས་ནས། རྣམ་གྲངས་དུ་མར་སྨད་དེ། བསླབ་བ་བཅའ་བའི་ཕན་ཡོན་བཅུ་ཡང་དག་པར་གཟིགས་པས་ངའི་ཉན་ཐོས་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་འདུལ་བ་ལ་ བསླབ་པའི་གཞི་འདི་ལྟར་གདོན་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། དགེ་སློང་རབ་ཏུ་མང་པོ་དག་གནས་མལ་དགོན་པ་དགོས་པ་དང་བཅས་པར་གྲགས་པ། འཇིགས་པ་དང་བཅས་པར་གྲགས་པ། འཇིགས་པ་ཐ་དད་པས་འཇིགས་སུ་རུང་བ་དང་བཅས་པར་གྲགས་པ་དག་ཏུ་

于是，那位居士将那座具备高耸马厩的寺院，装饰有窗户、窗户网和阳台，令人赏心悦目，宛如通往天界的阶梯，备办了床榻、小床和各种用具，让六十位比丘在那里进行夏季安居。之后，当另外六十位比丘在游方时来到那里，那位居士供养了各种用具，并承诺在那里度过夏季安居。由于那位居士和那片山岩附近没有其他寺院，他们凡是想要做的布施，都全部在那座寺院里进行，因此在那里承诺度过夏季安居的比丘们获得了许多供养。那些在秋季小月有邪见的人听到这件事后，在僧团十四日夜晚诵经时潜入寺院，殴打比丘并抢走了他们的衣服。那些比丘也赤身裸体地在舍卫城过夜，之后比丘们将衣服分给了那些比丘。当时，比丘们向世尊禀告了此事，世尊说道：因此，独住的比丘应当将三件法衣中的任何一件放在其他人家里，不要在那里睡觉，不要在那里迎来黎明，应当在寺院里迎来黎明。独住的比丘应当在六日结束之前，不要让那件法衣离开结界的范围。之后，世尊开许了这件事。当六群比丘明知故犯地让法衣离开七日时，比丘们向世尊禀告了此事。之后，世尊因为这件事、这个缘起和这个场合，召集了比丘僧团，呵责了六群比丘，以多种方式加以斥责，并且由于完全看到了制定学处的十种利益，我的声闻弟子们应当如此背诵学习的根本：众多比丘住在需要且著名的寂静处所，住在有恐惧且著名的处所，住在因各种恐惧而令人恐惧且著名的处所。

Then, that householder dedicated that monastery with its high horse stable, adorned with windows, window nets, and balconies, pleasing to the heart and eye, like a staircase to the heavens, and had beds, small beds, and abundant utensils prepared. Sixty monks performed the summer retreat there. Later, when another sixty monks arrived there while wandering, that householder offered various utensils and promised to spend the summer retreat there. Since there were no other monasteries near that householder and that rock, they gave and did all the almsgiving they intended to do in that very monastery, so the monks who had promised to spend the summer retreat there received many offerings. Those with wrong views in the autumn month of Thachung heard of this and, on the fourteenth of the monastic community, when chanting the Dharma at night, they sneaked in, beat the monks, and stole their robes. Those monks also spent the night naked in Shravasti, and later the monks distributed robes to those monks. At that time, the monks reported this to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One said: Therefore, a solitary monk should leave any one of the three Dharma robes in another's house, not sleep there, not usher in the dawn there, but usher in the dawn in the monastery itself. A solitary monk should not let that Dharma robe be separated from the boundary for up to six days. After that, the Blessed One granted permission. When the group of six monks knowingly separated the robe for seven days, the monks reported this to the Blessed One. Then, because of this event, this origin, and this occasion, the Blessed One convened the monastic community of monks, spoke to the group of six, scolded them in various ways, and because he fully saw the ten benefits of establishing the precepts, my hearers should recite the basis of learning in the Vinaya as follows: Many monks live in secluded places that are needed and famous, live in places that are fearful and famous, live in places that are frightening and famous because of various fears.
