It will become a downfall. For the Bhikshu who does something that has been cooked with fire, it will also become a downfall that destroys the collection of seeds, and for the Bhikshu who eats it, it will also become a downfall of accumulating food cooked by the Bhikshu. If grains and other things are placed in a place that is not a suitable room and not on suitable ground, and if a Shramanera or others cook it with fire, then it is already cooked, so there is no downfall for him. Seven-day medicine, and what is held during the period of sustaining life, cannot be eaten unless it is sprinkled with cold water, but if it is sprinkled, it is suitable, so there is no downfall for him. What is suitable for a limited time cannot be drunk unless it is sprinkled with cold water, but if it is sprinkled, it is suitable, so there is no downfall for him. It is impossible to cook seven-day medicine with fire. Whatever is suitable, it is suitable to do it at any time, but it is not necessarily done only at the time of eating. These are related to what is suitable, so they are mentioned in passing, but they do not belong to the scope of establishing downfalls here. There is no downfall for beginners, madmen, those with disturbed minds, and those who are troubled by feelings. What should be learned is that a Bhikshu should avoid all kinds of downfalls that would destroy seeds and growth in all places and at all times. A Bhikshu can use a staff to cut down trees for the sake of stupas, Dharma, and Sangha. The preparation for cutting down is to set up a mandala in front of it for seven or eight days, offer incense, flowers, incense, lamps, and tormas, and tell the merits of the Three Jewels and giving continuously, and then say: "O gods who dwell in this tree, please seek another dwelling! This tree will serve the cause of stupas, Dharma, or Sangha." After saying this, the Bhikshu uses a staff, and the speaker raises his own staff, but does not cut it down himself, but secretly instructs the carpenter and others at home to let them know and go to cut it down. When the tree is cut down in this way, if there are changes such as fire, bleeding, branches shaking, leaves falling, etc.,
