"I don't have" means without asking. "Using" means wearing. "Offense" means the same as before. So, how does an offense become? Here, too, the definition here should be understood through the main act, the preparatory act, the preparatory act of the preparatory act to establish the offense, as well as the absence of offense, what should be learned, and the remedies. Among them, the establishment of the main act of offense is: if a monk gives any of the cloth-stitched robes, upper robes, and lower robes to another monk, and under it, without the permission of the other party, if that base does not make the other party happy and uses it, it will become the main act of the offense of living by giving. For any monk belonging to this Dharma, there is no fault. For any of the three: cloth-stitched robes, upper robes, and lower robes, there is no fault. For giving without asking, using it at will, there is no fault. For not getting the other party's permission, there is no fault. For that base not making the other party happy, there is no fault. For the size of the part used and the length of time, there is no fault. The agent here is the monk using without clothes and permission. In this regard, through five limbs, it will become the main act of offense: it is the monk's, and it is the robe itself other than the monk's utensils, one's own giving, using it at will without the other party's permission, and that base not being happy and using it. If those limbs are not complete, there will be faults as appropriate. The offense of the preparatory act is a misdeed: as long as one starts to create the preparatory act of the offense of living by giving, until one has not encountered the main act, it is a misdeed. For the main act, for each different preparatory act created, there is one misdeed. For utensils other than clothes, it is a double misdeed. For a monk who is not of this Dharma, it is a misdeed. For a seat given without asking, not giving, it is a misdeed. The offense of the preparatory act of the preparatory act is a minor misdeed: how many preparatory acts there are, there are that many preparatory acts of the preparatory act. The preparatory act of the misdeed of the preparatory act is also a misdeed, that is, a minor misdeed. The situation where there is no offense is when the other party allows it.

There is no falling for having confidence. If one thinks that that basis will please the other party, there is no falling. There is no falling for being threatened by initial actions, madness, mental confusion, and feelings. What is to be learned is that a bhikṣu should learn not to rely on all kinds of actions that lead to downfall by living on alms in all places and at all times. One should not generate one's own idea of concealing what has been given to others. Do not abandon it. Do not overuse it there. The remedy is the same as before. The downfall of living on alms, the sixty kinds, have been explained. The basis of the downfall of defamation is that the Buddha, the Bhagavan, was staying in the place of the Kalandaka bird in the Light Garden of Rajagriha (Rājagṛha). At that time, the venerable Gyadbu Nor was staying in Rajagriha on the Vulture Peak Mountain, near a pond called Stone Lacquer Pond. The bhikkhuni Utpalavarna bowed her head to the feet of the Bhagavan and the elder bhikshus, and went to the place where the venerable Gyadbu Nor was, and bowed her head to the two feet of the venerable Gyadbu Nor, and sat in front to listen to the Dharma. At that time, the two bhikshus, Friend and Earth-born, found a piece of cloth for wiping, and these two had a grudge against the venerable Gyadbu Nor from lifetime to lifetime, so they were always diligent in searching for faults. These two took the cloth for wiping and had it carried to the Stone Lacquer Pond and spread it out in the sun. At that time, the edge of the Dharma garment of the venerable Gyadbu Nor was moved by the wind and touched the head of the bhikkhuni Utpalavarna. When the friend saw this, he said to Earth-born: Earth-born, this Gyadbu Nor, together with the bhikkhuni Utpalavarna, has arisen with the desire for the remainder of the sangha of bodily contact, and I think we should tell the bhikshus. After saying this, the two went and spoke those words to the bhikshus. The bhikshus said: Venerable ones, you two have completely abandoned the gods and humans, and the beings in hell, hungry ghosts, and animals.
