What is that like? "Angry, agitated, fierce, dissatisfied" means being angry and overwhelmed by the force of anger. "Bhikkhu" means for the person of this doctrine. "If intending to strike" means if preparing to strike. "Even with the palm of the hand" means even if just intending to slap with the palm of the hand is acceptable. "It is a downfall" means the same as before. So, how does a downfall occur? Here too, the definition of this should be understood through the actual basis, the preparation, the preparation of the preparation for determining the downfall, the absence of downfall, what should be learned, and what should be amended. Previously, the downfall of striking was taught, and here, the downfall of intending to strike is taught, the general characteristics of these two are similar. Specifically, the former is distinguished by the object of striking, while the latter is distinguished by the object of intending to strike. Here, the determination of the actual basis of the downfall is: if a bhikkhu, with a mind of defilement, intends to strike another bhikkhu with the body, or with what is thrown by it, or with anything related to it, even with a toe, a mustard seed, or grass, then merely intending to strike, for each object, becomes the actual basis of the downfall of intending to strike. A defiled mind, angry, agitated, fierce, whatever dissatisfaction there may be, there is no fault. Intending to strike another bhikkhu, for anyone of this doctrine who has taken full ordination, has not broken vows, and has the same views, there is no fault. Whether it is the body, or what is thrown by it, or anything related to it, there is no fault. "Body" means the internal grasping, that is, one finger, two fingers, three, four, five, or a fist, elbow, shoulder, head, chest, back, thigh, knee, ankle, and so on. "What is thrown by it" means what is thrown outwards, that is, an arrow, an iron arrow, a half-arrow made of iron, a pellet, a stone pellet, a pellet like the tooth of a calf, a four-cornered pellet, a pellet like the leaf of a karavira tree, a pellet like the heart of a bird, a wheel, a single-pointed vajra, a large arrow and a single-pointed weapon, the seed of a Chinese fir, and so on. "Related to it" means those two and
