It is not only to be eaten by monks, nor is it that nuns should not eat it. What is cooked by nuns should not only be eaten by nuns, nor is it that monks should not eat it. In both cases of what is cooked indoors and what is cooked by monks, the definition of the word "cooked" is generally the same: whatever raw thing is cooked is called "cooked." Among them, the raw state of non-soft foods such as sesame, rice, and meat is the state before it is one-third cooked after being ground, etc. After that, it is no longer a raw state. The raw state of soft foods is the state before the color changes, and after that, it is no longer a raw state. The raw state of liquids such as milk is the state before it is boiled twice, and after that, it is no longer a raw state. If one stores a bowl and a small bowl, a tongue scraper, a rinsing cup, a salt bag, a bowl container, clothes, a cane, a bed, a small bed, a staff, a whisk, a vase, a pill, a key, a crooked key, and becomes defiled, eating it is a fault. If one eats or drinks food and drink that has been eaten by someone with a dirty mouth, it is a fault. Among salt, altered substances, and turbid substances, if salt becomes salt water, altered substances become altered substance water, and turbid substances become turbid water, if one stores these things or drinks them without giving and receiving, it is a fault. If one takes handheld items, etc., and throws them away at will, even if they are items that need to be relied upon, one should give and receive them before eating, otherwise it is a fault. Regarding food and drink that has not been stored, if a monk thinks it has been stored, or eats it with doubt, it is a fault. The combination of combinations of downfall is a minor offense; as many combinations as there are, there are that many combinations of combinations; the combination of offenses is also an offense, that is, a minor offense. There is no downfall in the case of items that are held for sustenance and have been blessed; there is no fault in eating them at any time. Items that are held for sustenance and have not been blessed.
