The term "earth" means not knowing by oneself. The term "foolish" means not knowing when punished. The term "stealing" means stealing by force, and saying means speaking. "Killing?" means causing separation from life. "Binding?" means with the three bonds, made of iron, made of wood, and made of grass. "Expulsion is also permissible" means expulsion is also permissible, even making them without a place to stay. "Bhikshu" means one who possesses the qualities of a bhikshu. What are the qualities of a bhikshu? It is the ordination of full acceptance, which is obtained through the immovable four karmas and should not be abandoned. "That also" refers to the honorific terms of proximity and universality. The sound of "again that" is to follow the previous one. "Having failed, one should not abide" is the same as before. How does a downfall occur? Here, too, the characteristics of this are to be understood through the establishment of downfall by the main basis, the preparation, and the preparation of the preparation, as well as the absence of downfall, what is to be learned, and what is to be remedied. Here, the establishment of the downfall of the main basis is that one is defeated by stealing or causing to steal. The distinction is that if a bhikshu, with the intention of stealing, recognizes it as another's property, and if he moves more than or equal to one-fourth of a Karshapana, he will be defeated. There is no fault if it is possessed by a human lineage, belongs to another, is recognized as that, has the intention of stealing, is moved from its place, and is of full value. There is no fault in stealing by instructing. There is no fault in allowing others to cut wood without cutting it oneself, so the wood of another's property needs to be measured, causing it to exceed the position of the wood. There is no fault if one cannot estimate the value oneself. The relics of the Buddha are immeasurable jewels, so there is no fault in this. When betting, there is no fault in winning by not giving others a chance to speak for fear of arguing. If one wins by betting on a bet, it is actually stealing, and there is no fault even if there is no intention of stealing. There is no fault in erasing, adding marks such as numbers and calculation methods, or placing them in another place and obtaining them.

There is no fault in collecting things that are despised, borrowed, and filled. There is no fault in letters, manuscripts, and hand calculations. There is no fault in having no intention to steal when combining, but having the intention to steal when moving from the location. There is no fault in forcibly seizing and arguing. There is no fault in carrying a place containing items. There is no fault in stealing for the sake of the Sangha. One should not take what is not given. There is no fault in taking a share thinking that the share is one's own. There is no fault in following the path of guarding the way for thieves, etc. There is no fault in stealing from those who live together and those who live nearby. There is no fault in moving boundaries, etc. There is no fault in a Bhikshu relying on the form of another being, having the perception of a Bhikshu. There is no fault in things being similar in good and bad. There is no fault in a common place of transgression where the name has changed. There is no fault in being born from other beings and relying on the form of other beings. There is no fault in obtaining another state. There is no fault in establishing multiple trainings on one basis itself. There is no fault in entering with a mind of doubt about things. There is no fault in thinking about the place. There is no fault in doing it for oneself. If one does not know that it is a Bhikshu's property, then it is naturally damaged. The agent here is the intention to steal, and the complete value and movement from the location due to the perception that the property of others is one's own. In this case, the six branches become the root downfall: the intention to steal, not giving, being fully possessed by human lineage, perceiving it as another's, being of complete value, and moving from the location. If these branches are incomplete, then there is a fault accordingly. Among them, the intention to steal is the thought of stealing. If there is no intention to steal, then there is no downfall because one takes after making others understand through oneself, contempt, and an attached mind. Not giving means that for this, whether it is a man, woman, or hermaphrodite, it is not given, but given by others. If one steals oneself, it is a serious offense. Being fully possessed by human lineage means human property. If other beings steal, there is a fault.
