If those limbs are incomplete, then one should be rebuked accordingly. The downfall of accepting alms is a misdeed, as long as one engages in the act of abandoning downfall of weaving, until one does not reach the substance, it is a misdeed. For the substance, for each different act engaged in, there is a misdeed. Before the completion of the garment, going for alms for the sake of accomplishing the garment, seeking dyes and so on and bringing them there, washing the hands, washing the bowls, going and coming, obtaining alms and giving them to the weaver and so on, the various subsequent actions arising from thought are all misdeeds. Without being instructed by the patron, it is also a misdeed for a monk to go to the patron and the weaver. It is a misdeed for the patron and the weaver to be eunuchs and hermaphrodites. It is a misdeed for the patron and the weaver to be outsiders, as well as renunciates of this side, those without attachment and those who have declined. It is a misdeed for the substance to be unsuitable and not to possess the measure. It is a misdeed if the meaning of weaving is not understood. It is a misdeed if the garment is not completed. The downfall of the act of acting is a minor misdeed, for as many acts as there are, there are as many acts of acting, the act of acting of the misdeed of acting is also a misdeed, it is a minor misdeed. Among them, first thinking in the mind is the minor misdeed of the act of acting. Then engaging with body and speech is the actual misdeed of acting. Then one should know that the ultimate is the substance of abandoning downfall. There is no downfall if the patron and the weaver are relatives. There is no downfall for oneself. There is no downfall for giving wages. There is no downfall for the first worker, as well as the insane, the mentally disturbed, and those oppressed by feelings. What should be learned is that a monk in all places, at all times, should not rely on all the ways that lead to the abandonment of weaving, and should learn. The method of rectification is the same as before. The abandonment of weaving, the twenty-fourth, has been explained.
