Suppressing the antidote means that in order to stop the defilements of this life, it is in accordance with suppressing the entanglement of defilements. Abandoning the latent tendencies of defilements means that in order to prevent the defilements of future lives, in order to eliminate desire and abide in pure conduct, it is in accordance with abandoning the latent tendencies of defilements. In this way, in these ways, the Sangha will live in peace, in order to follow and protect the suffering of fierce asceticism, in order to follow and protect mutual harm, in order to follow and protect remorse in the heart, in order to follow and protect the lack of resources, in order to follow and protect the entanglement of defilements, in order to follow and protect wrong aspirations, in that order. My pure conduct benefits many beings, is vast, is truly revealed among gods and humans, and will last for a long time, which means that the teachings will not be interrupted, those who have already attained will live in peace, and those who have not yet attained or entered will enter in peace. Among them, my pure conduct refers to the practice of the Blessed One's teachings in order to be liberated from samsara. Benefiting many beings means benefiting castes and families such as the royal family. Vast means that these kinds of beings themselves will become more and more prosperous. Among gods and humans means that it is because they themselves have the ability, and not because the Blessed One's compassion is only temporary. Truly revealing means as it truly exists and as it truly is. These ten benefits, if briefly summarized, have four ways: the first is to gather, the second is to gather well, the third is that those who have been gathered will live in peace, and the fourth is to fully reveal the method by which those who have not yet been gathered in the future will live in peace, that is, the first benefit, the second benefit, the seven intermediate benefits, and the last benefit, in that order. Now we will explain the meaning of the branch of learning, that is,

In the phrase "any bhikṣu," the word "again" indicates that there is no transgression for the first-time user. If it is used by someone else later, it will lead to transgression. The term "bhikṣu" refers to a bhikṣu who has taken full ordination through a request and four karmas, excluding the four types of bhikṣus: nominal bhikṣus, self-proclaimed bhikṣus, bhikṣus for the sake of begging, and bhikṣus who have destroyed defilements. The term "any" refers to those like Sudāna, the solitary one, and anyone else similar. The phrase "together with the bhikṣus" refers to those who are different from this, who are in harmony with the Dharma, and whose conduct is as pure as Brahma. The phrase "because the precepts are the same" means that the precepts that a bhikṣu who has been fully ordained for a hundred years should learn, those who have just been fully ordained should also learn. And the precepts that those who have just been fully ordained should learn, those who have been fully ordained for a hundred years should also learn. Therefore, for those whose precepts themselves have not declined, whose training itself has not declined, and who are equal in reciting the Prātimokṣa Sūtra, it is like this. The phrase "without having given up the precepts" means that if one relies on someone who has not given up the precepts, it will lead to transgression. If one has given up the precepts, there is no vow, so relying on him will not lead to transgression. Now, the ritual for giving up the precepts is as follows: If a bhikṣu wants to return to lay life, or is unhappy, or wants to wander and does not pursue the practice of a śramaṇa, or is lazy in the practice of a śramaṇa, or becomes mute, or hesitates, or slanders, or wants to completely abandon the practice of a śramaṇa, then he should go to a wise person who belongs to the human race, whose nature has not been lost, and who is able to understand the meaning, and say this: "Venerable one, please listen, we are called so-and-so, we give up the precepts." Or say: "We give up the Buddha, the Dharma, the Sangha, the Sūtra Piṭaka, the Vinaya Piṭaka, the Mother, the Teacher, the Preceptor." Or say: "Please accept me as a householder." Or say: "I am a śrāmaṇera, a eunuch, a hermaphrodite, a nun who has been expelled, a thief, a heretic, one who should not reside, an outsider, one who has entered an outsider's path, a patricide, a matricide, a killer of an Arhat, the Sangha's..."
