It is a minor offense. For each different effort made in the main action, there is a minor offense. It is a minor offense to have a bowl that is not suitable or does not meet the standard. It is a minor offense just to seek a bowl. It is a minor offense for someone who has no bowl and has the intelligence to obtain one to seek one from others. It is a minor offense to seek a bowl from others with one's own belongings, rather than with a verbal request. It is a minor offense to ask others for a bowl when one has one's own belongings that can be used as the price of a bowl, but does not buy one. It is an offense to exchange a bowl because one wants a better one. It is a minor offense to ask for something from relatives and renunciates. It is a minor offense if one obtains a bowl by searching for one that has no owner. The offense of the effort of the effort is a minor offense. From however many efforts there are, there are that many efforts of the effort. The effort of the offense of the effort is also an offense, which is a minor offense. Of these, the first thought in the mind is the minor offense of the effort of the effort. Then, the effort with body and speech is the actual offense of the effort. Then, it should be known that the final result is the actual basis for abandonment. There is no offense in begging when one has no bowl. There is no offense in taking a bowl for a price or exchanging it when there is no desire for a good one. There is no offense for a beginner, a madman, a disturbed person, or someone who is afflicted by feelings. What should be learned is that a monk should learn not to rely on all aspects that would lead to abandoning the search for a bowl in all places and at all times. One should not be too attached to all things. One should not be too attached to possessions. One should not hold on to what one is attached to. Even if one has no robes or bowl, one should beg. Other methods of expiation are the same as before. Here, another distinction of the method of confession should be shown. Therefore, that monk should give that bowl to the community of monks. Whatever is the last bowl of that community of monks, that monk should be told, "Monk, you should not bless this bowl, you should give it away."

It should not be done. It should not be given to others, but should be used slightly and slowly until the final stage of breakage, thus giving. It is said that this is the ritual. The monk who seeks the remaining bowl should abandon that bowl from his heart and give it to the monastic community of monks. After that, he should confess his transgression. After offering that bowl to the monastic community, as a punishment for him, from all the bowls of the monastic community, the worst one should be chosen as the bowl to be given, and the name of that bowl is called the unconnected bowl. Moreover, for the monks, there are two connections to the bowl: blessing and using it oneself, and even at the time of complete abandonment, one should also show autonomy. If it is a bowl with remaining punishment, then that monk has no autonomy over those two connections. He cannot bless it himself, nor can he send it to others for alms, therefore the name of that bowl is called unconnected. That monk gives that bowl to the monastic community of monks, and the worst bowl of that monastic community, the unconnected bowl, is given to that monk in the following order: First, a monk should be appointed to distribute the unconnected bowl of the monastic community. A monk who distributes the unconnected bowl, if he possesses five qualities, should not be appointed if he has not been appointed, and should be dismissed if he has been appointed. What are the five? Acting out of desire, acting out of hatred, acting out of ignorance, acting out of fear, and not knowing whether the unconnected bowl has been distributed or not. A monk who distributes the unconnected bowl, if he possesses five qualities, should be appointed if he has not been appointed, and should not be dismissed if he has been appointed. What are the five? Not acting out of desire, not acting out of hatred, not acting out of ignorance, not acting out of fear, and knowing whether the unconnected bowl has been distributed or not. It should be announced in this way. First, one should ask if they are willing: So-and-so, are you willing to distribute the unconnected bowl to the monastic community?

It should be done. If willing, one should say they are willing. After that, he should arrange the dwelling, strike the ghanta, and truly admonish the monks with words of inquiry. After all the Sangha has sat down and connected, one monk should make a request and then act. It should be done like this: When seated, one should say this: Venerable Sangha, please listen. If the Sangha is willing, this monk named so-and-so wants to request from the Sangha to be unassociated with the bowl. If the Sangha deems it the right time, please allow the Sangha to appoint this monk named so-and-so to be unassociated with the bowl. This is the request. The action should be done like this: Venerable Sangha, please listen. This monk named so-and-so wants to request from the Sangha to be unassociated with the bowl. Therefore, if the Sangha appoints this monk named so-and-so to be unassociated with the bowl, then those virtuous ones who approve of appointing this monk named so-and-so to be unassociated with the bowl, please remain silent. Those who do not approve, please speak up. The Sangha has approved and allowed, the Sangha has appointed this monk named so-and-so to be unassociated with the bowl. Because no one objects, it is decided in this way. The Dharma that should be universally applied to a monk requesting to be unassociated with the bowl is this: The monk requesting to be unassociated with the bowl should admonish the virtuous Sangha, saying, "Tomorrow I will request from the Sangha to be unassociated with the bowl. When you hear the sound of the ghanta tomorrow, please each take your own bowl and enter into the Sangha." After that, the monk requesting to be unassociated with the bowl should, on the following morning, arrange the dwelling, strike the ghanta, and truly admonish the monks with words of inquiry. The monks should also take out their blessed bowls, hold them, and enter into the Sangha. Then,
