你们会把我从梵行者中驱逐出去，也会把我的戒尺拿走，我的坐垫也会被没收，我的钵也会被倒扣，我的滤水器也会被丢弃。他害怕了，就去了尼嘎所在的地方，尼嘎远远地看见他来了，他想：这个有知识的人这样走来，是要抢我的袈裟。于是他进入寺庙，关上门待在里面。那个有知识的人开始敲门，喊道：尊者尼嘎，尊者尼嘎。尼嘎一言不发地待着。比丘们对他说：有知识的人，你找尊者尼嘎做什么？他说：他拿走了我的袈裟。有知识的人，如果你想要袈裟，就去祈求世尊庇护吧。他去了世尊所在的地方，世尊远远地看见那个有知识的人来了。看见后，世尊对比丘们说：比丘们，你们看看这个有知识的人从远处来。尊者，遵命。他是为了袈裟而来，如果得到袈裟，那就好了。如果得不到，他会吐血而死。然后，那个有知识的人前去对世尊这样说道：世尊，尊者尼嘎拿走了我的袈裟，请世尊把它还给我吧。如果世尊不把袈裟还给我，我就会这样被从梵行者中驱逐出去，我的戒尺也会被拿走，我的坐垫也会被没收，我的钵也会被倒扣，我的滤水器也会被丢弃。然后，世尊对具寿阿难陀说：阿难陀，你去尼嘎那里，把那个有知识的人的袈裟还给他。如果不还，这个有知识的人会吐血而死，情况就是这样。具寿阿难陀回答说：尊者，遵命。听了世尊的教诲后，去了尼嘎所在的地方，尼嘎远远地看见具寿阿难陀来了。

You will expel me from the company of those who practice chastity, and you will also take away my measuring stick. My mat will also be confiscated, my bowl will also be turned upside down, and my water strainer will also be discarded. Frightened, he went to where Nyiga was, and Nyiga saw him coming from afar. He thought: This knowledgeable person is coming in this manner to steal my robe. So he entered the temple, closed the door, and stayed inside. That knowledgeable person began to knock on the door, calling out: Venerable Nyiga, Venerable Nyiga. Nyiga remained silent. The monks said to him: Knowledgeable one, what do you want from Venerable Nyiga? He said: He took my robe. Knowledgeable one, if you want a robe, go and seek refuge in the Blessed One. He went to where the Blessed One was, and the Blessed One saw that knowledgeable person coming from afar. Having seen him, the Blessed One said to the monks: Monks, look at that knowledgeable person coming from afar. Venerable One, as you command. He has come for the sake of the robe, and if he obtains the robe, that would be good. If he does not obtain it, he will vomit blood and die. Then, that knowledgeable person went and said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, Venerable Nyiga has taken my robe, please, Blessed One, grant that it be returned to me. If the Blessed One does not return the robe to me, I will thus be expelled from the company of those who practice chastity, and my measuring stick will also be taken away. My mat will also be confiscated, my bowl will also be turned upside down, and my water strainer will also be discarded. Then, the Blessed One said to the Venerable Ananda: Ananda, go to Nyiga and give back the robe of that knowledgeable person. If he does not give it back, this knowledgeable person will vomit blood and die, that is the situation. The Venerable Ananda replied: Venerable One, as you command. Having heard the Blessed One's teaching, he went to where Nyiga was, and Nyiga saw the Venerable Ananda coming from afar.

看到那个（外道）后，他想：有智慧的人带着这样的使者来，这会夺走我的阴茎吧。然后，具寿目犍连对尼犍子这样说道：世尊开示说，把有智慧者的阴茎还回去，如果不如数归还这个人的阴茎，那么有智慧的人会吐血而死的情况是会发生的。尼犍子说：尊者目犍连，听闻导师的教言就足够了，否则，与其让这个裸体外道吐血而死，不如让所有有智慧者遍满整个赡部洲，比如像甘蔗林，或者芦苇丛，或者郁金林一样，即使他们全部吐血而死，尼犍子的毛发尖端也不会动摇。但是，你走吧，我会给的。然后，具寿目犍连离开了。尼犍子说：喂，裸体外道听着！你的虚假导师用谎言欺骗世人，导致众生堕入地狱，他的舌头被五百犁铧耕耘。你比他更虚假，你的舌头也会被一千犁铧耕耘。此外，如果我用你的阴茎，你以为我也会用你的阴茎吗？尊者尼犍子不是这样的。尼犍子用那个人的阴茎擦拭了所有的下体部位，然后四折叠起来放在左手上，用右手拍打，所有的污垢都脱落了，然后说：有智慧的人，伸出你的双手！他伸出了双手，尼犍子的手以那种能把他打倒在地的力量把阴茎交给他，然后把他打倒在地。尼犍子用脚踢着他说：裸体外道，裸体者，走开，不要玷污精舍！尊者尼犍子，如果我不死，我会离开的，以后我不会再去胜林了。这只是一时发生的事情，世尊暂时不会为了调伏而为声闻弟子们制定学处。地点是舍卫城。

Then, the Venerable Maudgalyayana said this to the Nirgrantha: "The Blessed One has declared, 'Return the penis of the wise one. If the penis of this person is not returned, then there will be such a situation that the wise one will vomit blood and die.'" The Nirgrantha said: "Venerable Maudgalyayana, it is enough to listen to the teacher's teachings. Otherwise, rather than letting this naked heretic vomit blood and die, even if all the wise ones were to fill the entire Jambudvipa, like a sugarcane forest, or a reed thicket, or a turmeric grove, and even if they all vomited blood and died, not even the tip of a hair of the Nirgrantha would be moved. However, go away, and I will give it." Then, the Venerable Maudgalyayana left. The Nirgrantha said: "Hey, naked heretic, listen! Your false teacher deceives the world with lies, causing beings to fall into hell, and his tongue is plowed by five hundred plows. You are even more false than him, and your tongue will also be plowed by a thousand plows. Furthermore, if I use your penis, do you think I will also use your penis? Venerable Nirgrantha is not like that." The Nirgrantha wiped all the lower body parts with that person's penis, then folded it four times and placed it on his left hand, and slapped it with his right hand, and all the dirt fell off, and then said: "Wise one, stretch out your two hands!" He stretched out his two hands, and the Nirgrantha's hand gave the penis to him with such force that it would knock him to the ground, and then knocked him to the ground. The Nirgrantha kicked him and said: "Naked heretic, naked one, go away, do not defile the monastery!" Venerable Nirgrantha, if I do not die, I will leave, and I will not go to the Jeta Grove again. This is just something that happened temporarily, and the Blessed One will not temporarily establish the basis of training for the Shravaka disciples for the sake of taming. The place is Shravasti.
