Moreover, that Uposatha is also completely pure. It also proclaims intention and complete purity. It should also be said that the proclamation should also be known, saying it once. The Sangha should also accept it, therefore, offering intention will not make the Sangha's activities discordant, and offering complete purity will make those who have not arrived become their own vessels. If the recipient dies before reaching the Sangha, or returns to lay life, etc., because they have not accepted, they should accept again.

After hearing these words. "Great Sage" refers to the teacher, the Bhagavan, because he possesses the character of discipline. As it is said, it means not to violate the Vinaya and not to violate the world, as it is said. To be diligently practiced means to practice diligently through the three aspects of application, main practice, and conclusion. Defect means sin, because it is condemned by the noble ones. For the subtle, it refers to the established defects and minor faults. Persist and practice, which means to strive to protect and so on. This is a word of exhortation, meaning that even for the subtle, one should persist and practice, then there is no need to mention the defects in nature and the major faults that have been established. It should be understood in this way. Always urge with diligence, The mind-horse is difficult to control, The bridle with a hundred sharp nails, This is the Pratimoksha. It means that always urging with diligence means that this mind, like a wild horse, when heading towards the virtuous path of the path of ease, one must constantly tighten the reins and drive and urge with the whip of diligence. Mind-horse means that the mind itself is like a wild horse. Difficult to control means that when heading towards the non-virtuous path like a wrong path, it floats like the wind, and it is difficult to control and tame due to the attraction of greed.

It is not certain to be a hundred. The rein is this Pratimoksha. The term "similar to a rein" is used. By these, one should accomplish as the great sage has said, be diligent and strive even in the smallest faults, and tame the wild horse-like mind with the rein of Pratimoksha, thereby showing how to truly accomplish Pratimoksha. It has been said to truly accomplish it. After the freedom to show its benefits, Those great ones who, by mere purity, Turn back and do not cross the boundaries, Those are good men and horses, They will surely be victorious in the battle of afflictions. Thus it is said. "Great" means the nature of greatness, because they desire to learn. "By mere purity" means by eliminating transgressions and so on. "Turn back" means turning back from what is not to be done. "Boundaries" means turning back from the precepts. "Do not cross" means not transgressing. "Those are good men and horses" means those men are like good horses. "Battle of afflictions" means the nature of afflictions is like a battlefield that oppresses oneself and others, in that. "Surely victorious" means exhausting afflictions and obtaining the fruit of Nirvana. By these, if one can truly accomplish Pratimoksha, then through the path of surely being victorious in the battle of afflictions, the benefits of truly accomplishing it are shown. The benefits of it have been spoken. After the freedom to show the faults of not truly accomplishing it, Whoever has no this rein, And never desires, Those are disturbed by the battle of afflictions, They will wander in disarray, without attachment. Thus it is said. "Whoever has no this rein" means the heretics and others do not have it, because they have not truly taken it. "And never desires" means those who enjoy desires, then no one desires, because they do not incline towards discipline. "Disturbed" means defeated. "Without attachment" means by the taming of higher discipline, one abides in the peace of higher mind, therefore it is abiding.
