It is said to be an offense. The offense of combination is a misdeed, that is, as long as one begins the combination of relinquishment that leads to intercourse, it is a misdeed until one reaches the actual practice. For the actual practice, each time a different combination is performed, there is a misdeed. For non-Buddhist renunciates, the unattached, and the degenerated, it is a misdeed. Clothes that are not suitable, and those that are too small, are misdeeds. Those that are not blessed, those belonging to others, those that are rough, those that are not suitable for intercourse, Dharma robes, cushions that are not, and dispatching and so on, and those not made by nuns, are all misdeeds. Considering relatives as non-relatives, and having doubts about relatives, are misdeeds. Mule hair and the clothes of householders, and pillows with inner tubes, and those that have been allowed, those that have been abandoned, those belonging to the Sangha, are also misdeeds. The offense of combination of combination is a subtle misdeed, as many combinations as there are, there are as many combinations of combination. The combination of misdeed of combination is also a misdeed, it is a subtle misdeed. That is, first thinking in the mind is the subtle misdeed of combination of combination. Then performing the combination with body and speech is the actual misdeed of combination. Then finally completing it is the actual practice of relinquishment, it should be understood in this way. For a woman with the appearance of a householder, it is a subtle misdeed. There is no offense when relatives are considered as relatives. There is no offense for beginners, and those who are insane, and those who are mentally disturbed, and those who are oppressed by feelings. What should be learned is that a monk should abandon causing intercourse in all places and in all circumstances. Thus, those who do not have them should freely beg, pregnant women, and those who are alone. There, the nuns will not abandon them. Food should be given there. The laws of the Sangha should be protected. Even those who come suddenly should not violate it. In order to fully understand whether it exists or not, and how it exists, she should be asked. Not too long, that is, entering and searching for a place to enter, and placing objects, and staying temporarily, all of these are done first

Below that, matters of law should be inquired about. What the Buddha said does not waver from the Sangha. When offering leftover items such as bowls, robes, nets, cups, and belts, the Sangha should accept them for the purpose of being placed nearby. Having placed them nearby in this way, those who do not have these items may use them as they please. Returning them should be as before. The fourth, concerning relinquishing due to confusion, is finished. The Extensive Commentary on the Pratimoksha Sutra, Collected from All the Vinayas, Volume Eleven. The basis for relinquishing acceptance is twofold, due to prohibition and permission. The basis for prohibition is that the Buddha, the Bhagavan, was residing in Anathapindika's Grove in Jeta's Garden in Shravasti. At the time when the Bhagavan had not prohibited the nuns from dwelling in monasteries, the nuns also entered the monastic dwellings and experienced the bliss of meditation, liberation, samadhi, and samapatti. Then, the nun Utpalavarna, with five hundred attendants, went to the important Dark Forest. Having arrived there, they leaned against a tree and sat in a half-lotus position, experiencing the bliss of meditation, liberation, samadhi, and samapatti. Those nuns, wanting to enter Shravasti for alms, said: 'The noble Utpalavarna should be invited.' Some said: 'The noble Utpalavarna has great power and great magical abilities, so there is even a possibility that she will go to the summer retreat first.' Saying this, they did not invite her. Utpalavarna also returned from outside and saw that all the nuns had left, and she thought: 'Should I go, or should I stay here?' Then she entered into cessation samapatti right there. About five hundred crooked thieves also committed acts of theft and arrived at the Dark Forest. They said: 'Two hundred and fifty of us should divide the loot, and two hundred and fifty should patrol the forest.' Then two hundred and fifty of them began to divide the loot, and two hundred and fifty patrolled the forest.
