Is it dawn while playing? I live nearby, and if dawn breaks outside the monastic robe, it becomes an offense entailing forfeiture. The offense of preparation is a misdeed, as long as one initiates the preparation for an offense entailing forfeiture that involves separation for one night, until one does not reach the actual deed, it is a misdeed. For the actual deed, for each different preparation that is made, there is a misdeed. An unsuitable monastic robe, and one that is too small in size, and one that is unblessed, are misdeeds. The offense of the preparation of preparation is a minor misdeed, for as many preparations as there are, there are that many preparations of preparation. The preparation of the preparation of a misdeed is also a misdeed, that is, a minor misdeed. Of these, first thinking in the mind is the minor misdeed of the preparation of preparation. Then, the preparation with body and speech is the misdeed of preparation. Then, the final completion is the actual deed of an offense entailing forfeiture, it should be understood as such. There is no offense in the case of having received permission, and not having been blessed, and not having been separated for one night, there is no offense. There is no offense in not having removed a hard spread. There is no offense in being separated from a spread. There is no offense for a beginner, and one who is insane, and one who is mentally disturbed, and one who is afflicted by feelings. What should be learned is that a monk should learn not to rely on all the things that lead to abandonment and forfeiture in all places and at all times. If one does not think of returning and staying today, one should not leave after placing the bedding. If one leaves thinking so, and the time has not arrived, one should despise it and stay there. If one does not find it, one should fold the upper garment into four layers and spend the night without lying down for a long time. One should not place the sanghati in a place where there is no monk and where there is no door. One should not place even a large summer cloth in a place where it is not appropriate to place the sanghati, and if it rains, one should not leave after placing the large summer cloth. If one is going to cross a river, one should not place the large summer cloth. If it is raining, and if one is going to a place where one suspects that there is a river crossing, one should not place the large summer cloth. Being with a monk, and

Without a place that includes books and everything else, without rain, without the suspicion of rain, and without anything like a river blocking the way, one should put down the sitting cloth and not go anywhere. Even if these conditions exist, if permission has not been given and a hard surface has not been laid, one should not go anywhere without the sitting cloth. If a monk goes to another village without a sitting cloth due to rain or other reasons, and does not return to his dwelling on the same day, then he should recite the mantra for releasing the robes and bless his other robes, or the robes of a householder, or those obtained from others. The procedure for this is explained in the general activities; if there is no one nearby to release and bless the robes, it is said that it is accomplished through mental contemplation. When blessing the robes, if no other monk is nearby, then it is accomplished by contemplating with one's own mind that the robes are nearby. For releasing the robes, even if the robes are not nearby, it is acceptable if another monk is nearby. If no other monk is nearby, then it is accomplished by contemplating with one's own mind. Therefore, even if the robes are not nearby, the release will definitely be accomplished. The procedure and mantra for this are the same as when blessing and releasing the robes when another monk and the robes are nearby; even when another monk and the robes are not nearby, one should place them by contemplating with one's own mind. Here, the text says that monks, these five things are accomplished through intention: the Sojong (Uposatha), the Gagye (Pravāraṇā), the blessing of robes, the release of robes, and being invited by someone. If the sitting cloth is heavy, then permission to not separate is given to the elderly and the sick, etc. The procedure for this is done as explained earlier in the introduction, when the venerable Mahākāśyapa and Śāriputra appeared. The modification is the same as before. Abandoning separation, the second has been explained. The Extensive Commentary on the Prātimokṣa Sūtra, Collected from the Vinaya, Volume Ten. The introduction to the abandonment of placing is when the Buddha, the Bhagavan, was in Śrāvastī, King Prasenajit...
