Because it is said that what is not like the thing itself is not the basis. To doubt what is not one's own is a transgression, because it is said that doubt is like a transgression. The so-called "having been dedicated at the time of dedication, it is already severed" means that whatever of one's own that should be abandoned, once the mind has completely let go, is it not blessed at the time of dedication? Even if it has been allowed, it has already separated from itself and is not its own. Here it is taught: When a monk dedicates robes and other things to the Sangha, an individual, or another, whether the recipient knows it or not, whether it is delivered to him or not, because it has separated from himself, is it not blessed? Even if it has not been allowed, it will not become something to be abandoned. The scripture here is from the Leather Basis, which says, "Whoever delivers it will not incur abandonment," which is the same meaning. For the belongings of the dead, it is not the notion of distinguishing from things, and it is also like this. Here the scripture says: If a monk gives robes and other things to a monk, whoever gives it has already abandoned it, and whoever receives it has also abandoned it, then to bless those to whom it is given is not to bless them. To bless the one who gives is to bless, it is to bless well. Therefore, the object is considered the belongings of the dead of the one who made it, not of the one to whom it was dedicated. The so-called "dedicated for the purpose of ordination is also the same" means that it is determined for the cause of ordination, definitely distinguished, definitely dedicated, is also the same, which is the dedication itself. The scripture here says that there is no downfall if it is burned for the purpose of ordination. Although this is said for the bowl, it is also possible for robes and other things, so it is generally explained. The so-called "it can also be allowed from the robes" means that in order to be allowed from the robes, if it is dedicated, it indicates separation from oneself. Allow

The ritual and mantra of the act is that the monk stands in front, holding the edge of the two robes, and says this: "Venerable one, please listen. I, named so-and-so, make this remaining robe, which has not been made usable, and which is suitable to be made usable, usable for the abbot. I will hold it trusting the abbot. I will act according to the circumstances." Repeat this three times. If it is to be made usable for someone other than the abbot, the name should also be replaced with so-and-so. Regarding this, the very act of following is also a loss, so it is said that for the transgression of one's own self, by means of the aspiration itself and the act of making usable itself, the very act of following one's own self, that is, the continuity itself, is also known to be a loss. Not only one's own self is lost. It is taught thus: If a monk obtains a Dharma robe on a certain day and makes that Dharma robe usable or dyes it on the fifth day, even if he obtains another Dharma robe on that very day later, it will not be mixed with the previous mark, because the very act of following is lost. Even if it is lost from its own nature, it should also be connected to the statement that the very act of following is lost. It is taught thus: Even if the monk himself has fallen away from the very nature of his ordinary self due to extreme mental confusion, etc., at that time the causal connection that accords with himself is lost, so the mark of accordance that had not previously fallen away from its own nature will not be mixed with the nature of the state when he later regains his mind. Here, the scripture is that the attendant asked, if a strong monk obtains a Dharma robe and becomes extremely mentally disturbed after five years, then from where should those ten years be counted later? It is said that it should be counted from where the attendant regains his own mind. The previous five days are not counted, because it is evident that the continuity of following is lost, because the mind was extremely disturbed in the middle. If it exists, then such a thing will also happen to others, that is, if the following exists, then such a thing that is obtained later will also happen to others. Such a thing
