If it is not recited once a day, then whenever it is not recited, that day and night should be cut off. This is the ritual and mantra for him to recite to the Sangha. If he causes strife, then the ritual and mantra for expulsion is as follows: If that person who indulges for six days causes strife and opposes all people, or if he hears that one or more people who are unfriendly to him are causing strife, and if they are afraid of being discussed and remembered because of this matter, then at that time he can, to the Sangha or to an individual, expel that indulgent person with ritual and mantra, and let him abide in his own nature. The ritual and mantra for expelling the Sangha is as follows: After preparing his own seat, strike the ghanta, and admonish the monks with words of inquiry, and when all the Sangha are gathered and harmonious, take off both shoes, expose one shoulder, prostrate to the elders, squat beside the elders, join palms and bow, and say this: Venerable Sangha, please listen, I, a monk named so-and-so, have heard that the indulging monk is causing strife, revealing faults, fighting, regretting, and arguing. Because of those things, I will be discussed and remembered, so I will renounce indulgence again in front of you, the long-lived ones. If those opponents and unfriendly people appear again, I will accept indulgence again. Venerable Sangha, please allow me to abide in my own nature, repeat this three times. The text of the ritual and mantra for expelling an individual is: The Venerable Bhagavan said, if the enemy of indulgence comes, he should indulge in the act of indulgence. How should he indulge? The attendant monk takes off both shoes, exposes one shoulder, prostrates to the elders, squats in front of one monk, joins palms and bows, and says this:

Should be done. Venerable ones, please listen. I, a bhikkhu, have an enemy bhikkhu who causes joy. I, called by this name, freely engage in joyful conduct and will take it up again. If I take it up and engage in it again, venerable ones, please do not hold me as shameless. Repeat this three times. The listening bhikkhu should say: This is a means. He should say: It is good to abandon joyful matters, thus he should say. Having abandoned the conduct of joyful matters, until he takes it back, he does not need to engage in joyful matters, but should naturally abide. This is the rite and mantra for abandoning when strife arises. The rite and mantra for taking back when strife has ceased is as follows: If that quarrelsome person has left and is free from fear, then in that very monastery, the joyful matters that were practiced should be taken back by the Sangha or an individual through rite and mantra. The rite and mantra for taking back from the Sangha is: Having prepared his own seat, struck the ghanta, and truly admonished the bhikkhus with words of inquiry, when all the Sangha are seated and in harmony, he should take off his shoes, expose one shoulder, prostrate to the elders in order, sit squatting to the side of the elders, join his palms in reverence, and say as follows: Venerable Sangha, please listen. I, a bhikkhu called by this name, because of joyful matters, bhikkhus engage in strife, expose faults, quarrel, scatter, dispute, etc., I have heard. They will discuss me with this matter, they will remember me, therefore, having heard that, for the sake of abandoning joyful matters again before the Sangha, those unfriendly enemies have appeared again, so I also take back joyful matters. I will engage in joyful matters without letting them go to waste. Venerable Sangha, please accept my engagement in joyful matters, repeat this three times. The rite and mantra for taking back before an individual is also the same, he should take off his shoes, expose one shoulder, prostrate, sit squatting before the bhikkhu, join his palms in reverence, and say as follows:

Now let's begin. Venerable ones, please listen. I, the monk named so-and-so, am the monk enemy who should be pleased. I, named so-and-so, have indulged in pleasing conduct. Those enemy monks have reappeared, so I am taking back the pleasing again. I will do those pleasing things that are not interrupted. Venerable ones, please accept me as one to be pleased, repeat this three times. The listener should say, "This is the method." The one accepting the pleasing should say, "Very well." After he takes back the pleasing conduct, like before, he will practice all the practices of conduct, I will do those pleasing things that are not interrupted. Those are the practices of conduct, residing in another place for six days, are the practices of conduct to be pleased. If you practice like this for six days, you should know that you have practiced pleasing. Now, until the pleasing is done but not removed, the practices of conduct that he has practiced should be shown. The pleasing that has been done but not removed, that is because the work of pleasing is not something that naturally remains after it is done, so he also did the moving like before, because it is not pleasing, so all the practices of conduct that have been shown should be practiced without omission. In this way, the practices of moving and the practices of pleasing, the practices of all the conduct of both are the same. The practices of moving that has been done but pleasing has not been given, and the practices of pleasing that has been done but not removed, the practices of all the conduct of both are the same. After the removal has been done, there is no need to practice any of those practices of all the conduct, because it should be known that it has already become naturally existing. Like that, those are the ritual and work of giving pleasing for six days. After that, the order of giving removal is this: The one who has already practiced pleasing, in any place where there is a sangha of more than two thousand monks, whether it is all that has not been practiced separately, or it is also fine to practice separately in the mandala. To those people, one requests removal himself, the sangha requests it of him, through the four actions, including threats and praises, that person should be removed from the remaining offenses of the sangha. Among those, the ritual and mantra of requesting removal from the sangha himself
