Without mentioning the name and category, to me A transgression has occurred, or I have done something inappropriate, it is acceptable to recognize it in any way. Apart from the root of defeat, actions and faults, etc., all other transgressions, if concealed, then the previously concealed faults should be remedied, and it should be known that the later transgression itself should also be remedied. Remedying the concealed fault is to truthfully confess the name and category of the transgression, and for how long it was concealed. For Saṅghādisesa, if there is a concealed fault, it must be eliminated by a karma called 'moving out', which will be explained below. If there is an opportunity to confess and repent, but one does not confess or repent, then each day will generate a misdeed. The person to whom one confesses must be a fully ordained monk, abiding in his own nature, with the same view and discipline, residing within the boundary, if the name and category of the Saṅgha are different, then one should not confess to other Vinaya holders. Confession should not be done to other Vinaya holders in any way. The actions of Saṅghādisesa, remedying gross offenses, is also through confession and repentance, to be liberated from the transgression of gross offenses. For this, confession is that a monk should not conceal what should not be done, for the gross offenses of the thirteen actions of Saṅghādisesa, whether a minor or serious offense has occurred, even with just one concealing thought, one should not conceal it, but should immediately take off both shoes. Kneel down in front of a monk who is fully ordained, abiding in his own nature, with the same view and discipline, residing within the boundary, and whose name and category of transgression are different. Join the palms, speak the name of the category of transgression and the category that has occurred, and confess. The mantra for that is: Venerable one, please listen, I, the monk named so-and-so, have committed a gross offense resulting from the action named so-and-so in the category of Saṅghādisesa. I, the monk named so-and-so, confess to the Venerable one, I do not conceal it. After confessing, I will abide in comfort, if I do not confess, I will not, repeat this three times. Its

Afterwards, it should be said, "It is a method by listening." The one confessing should say, "Excellent," and that alone is confession. If at that moment there is no one to confess to, there is no fault of concealment until dawn. As long as a person to confess to is not found, even if dawn breaks, there is no fault of concealment for not confessing. If there is no one to confess to, there is no fault of concealment for not having the intention to confess as long as a person to confess to is not found. If there is someone to confess to, but due to some circumstances, there is no opportunity for oneself to go there, or if oneself has moved from that place to another, there is no fault of concealment for not having the intention to confess during that time. If there is someone to confess to, but one thinks about the transgression that has occurred, "If I go to him and do not speak, I fear it will become a fault of concealment," and therefore does not go there, or has gone elsewhere and has not spoken, there is also no fault of concealment. For whatever reason, not going to him when the conditions have not gathered, or going elsewhere, or not confessing before dawn, and generating the intention to conceal, are all misdeeds, and this is also as before. If the person to confess to is a fully ordained bhikshu, abiding in his own nature, with the same view and discipline, dwelling within the boundary, and the transgression is not different in name and kind, then confessing to these Dharma friends who have been taught before is also confession, and their establishment is also as before. The general summary of confessing transgressions is also as before, and the complete confession mantra should be recited. If one cannot recite the complete confession mantra, even if one only speaks the name or kind, it becomes confession. Here, name refers to the category of transgression, and kind refers to the transgression that has occurred. Thus, after confessing the transgression, the misdeed of that action does not need to be confessed separately. After confessing in this way, the confession of a sanghavasesa offense, which is a grave and heavy offense, should be made to all the bhikshus wherever five or more bhikshus reside and have not been separately isolated. It is not permissible to confess in a place where there are less than five bhikshus. If there are bhikshus from another place

Requesting purification, if more than five people can make up the number, then it can be confessed. If there are more than five monks residing in a place, and other monks are established, separating the portion exceeding five people, it can also be confessed. If there are more than five people residing in that place, all the monks residing there must confess. For a lighter offense of Sanghavasesa, it can be within the boundary, and confessing to one monk will restore one from the downfall. Therefore, a heavier offense of Sanghavasesa must be confessed within the boundary in front of everyone, including five monks. For a lighter offense of Sanghavasesa, it can be either within or outside the boundary, and can be confessed to one monk. If one wants to know the heaviness or lightness of a Sanghavasesa offense, a large fault is a heavy offense, and a small fault is a light offense. The size of the fault should be judged from the size of the object and intention. For example, for external clothing and other things that are not considered sentient beings, the gross offense of ejaculating semen in the middle of the clothing is a light offense. For limbs that can be used in form, the gross offense of touching hands and other things that are considered sentient beings is a heavy offense. Similarly, for men, zama (referring to males who cannot perform male-female acts), hermaphrodites, and bisexuals, being able to engage in sexual acts, without clothing covering, and without damage, the gross offense of touching is a light offense. For women or young girls, engaging in impure conduct, being able to engage in sexual acts, with clothing covering and damaged, the gross offense of touching is a heavy offense. For men, zama, hermaphrodites, and bisexuals, being able to fully understand, the gross offense of speaking words related to sexual matters is a light offense. For women who are magically transformed and have the nature of sexual matters, the gross offense of speaking words related to sexual matters is a heavy offense. For men, zama, hermaphrodites, and bisexuals, being able to fully understand the meaning of well-spoken and poorly-spoken Dharma teachings, the gross offense of honoring and praising is a light offense. For women or young girls, not being able to fully understand the meaning of well-spoken and poorly-spoken Dharma teachings, the gross offense of honoring and praising is
