For, and because there will be fear if there are no sentient beings in all places and times, and to tell the merits and demerits, liberation and bondage of oneself and others. The meaning of word and word is that words are equal, words are superfluous, letters are equal, and letters are superfluous. The meaning of word is one-fourth of a verse. Equal means speaking together. The meaning of superfluous words is that the Acharya did not speak, but the attendant spoke first, which is superfluous words. Dharma means belonging to the twelve divisions of scripture. Some say that here it refers to the meaning of Dharma that is in accordance with the Vinaya. If you want, it means to let people accept it in the way of giving teachings, so there is no fault in reciting it together with taking the full ordination. A Bhikshu who has not received full ordination thinks that he has not received full ordination, or he may have doubts about a Bhikshu who has not received full ordination. If he recites with equal words, superfluous words, equal letters, and superfluous letters, he commits a Patita. A Bhikshu who has received full ordination thinks that he has not received full ordination, or he may have doubts, and if he recites, he commits a Dukkata. Belonging to the animal realm, as well as madness, as well as mental confusion, as well as being tormented by feelings, as well as non-humans, as well as foolishness, as well as dumbness, as well as deafness, reciting the Dharma with words commits a Dukkata. Just like not receiving full ordination, combining with the four sentences, such as equal words, etc., similarly, thinking of Dharma as Dharma is also the same, until here. A householder looking for opportunities, or wanting to steal Dharma, or not believing, or not understanding, or a heretic, even if he does not recite there, just telling the Dharma that is in accordance with the Vinaya also commits a Patita. As said, reversing the meaning, arguing with householders with words and words, commits a Patita. A Shramanera commits a Dukkata. Showing the Patita to robbers, similarly, there is no Patita in showing the Pratimoksha. Just as there is no Patita in proclaiming the Pratimoksha to kings, as well as those with faith, as well as the main figures. One should not proclaim to those who do not believe, or those who are arrogant. The Vinaya should not be spoken in five ways.
