It is the value of food. Merely giving food does not incur a transgression here, but it is because one speaks of how to discriminate. Giving to that bhikshu, from ascending the seat to when he has strength, and until he obtains the robe, there is a minor offense. If obtained, it should be relinquished. Is a suitable robe not a non-mother? Is it an impotent male, or an impotent female, or a hermaphrodite, or a hermaphrodite female? If one discriminates for the sake of a robe, there is a minor offense. The fourth. In Shravasti, Ananda, dwelling together, angered by giving robes to the sangha, and then taking them back, thus the fifth was established, based on the complete acceptance of giving and not giving, in order to abandon unbearable afflictions, becoming a serious violation, and afflictions of disbelief. A bhikshu is one who has received full ordination through solicitation and four karmas. Similarly, there is no transgression for bhikshunis and others. Giving means giving permanently. If one gives for a moment, or says, "I give you this, you do that for me," such instruction does not require relinquishment. After that means at a later time. Anger, etc., that "gesture" means showing anger with the body. Disturbance means manifesting anger in the mind. Threatening means speaking angry words. Displeasure means showing signs of anger, towards harmful things. Taking back means originally hoping friends etc. would do it, but they did not, and one takes it back according to one's own idea. In another case, it becomes a defeat. The remainder should be returned, meaning if there is still a remainder to be enjoyed, it should be returned to that bhikshu. Enjoying it should be relinquished, meaning possessing it and fully enjoying it. Others say it is merely approaching enjoyment and fully enjoying it. So how does a transgression occur? A bhikshu with the body, or with speech, or both, is fine. Other bhikshus etc. are also fine. To harm others by taking away a monastic robe, or having others take it away, is also fine, as long as the edge of the robe has not left the body.

The interval is a misdeed. If separated from the body, it is to be abandoned for a bhikkhu. For other bhikkhus and bhikkhunis, it is a downfall. For novices and so on, it is a misdeed. For a householder or a female householder, it will become a great non-merit. Regarding what has been used, if one thinks it has not been used, or regarding what has not been used, if one thinks it has not been used, it will be a downfall, but not to be abandoned. Regarding what has been used, if one thinks it has been used, it is langpa and to be abandoned. What has been promised has not been fulfilled, or reversed, or previously damaged, etc., or giving less than the standard amount, robbing or giving, or being robbed, or other, if both situations change, it is a misdeed. There is no downfall for other reasons. How is that? Going to a place with fear, or going at the wrong time, the teacher robs the clothes, or says do not become something harmful to this, or becoming a tool of discipline, or in any way to rob in order to stay away from sinful friends. Similarly, regarding other situations where there is no anger and robbing, it should be said that there is no downfall. If there is a temporary idea of time, or poverty, or accepting with pleasant Dharma, there is no downfall. Fifth (end). Staying in Shravasti. The six groups of bhikkhus distributed the wealth obtained in the summer during the summer, so the Blessed One said that if it is established, it will become a very heavy transgression. King of Light ordered to go to the market with swords to fight, because he was worried about his death, so it was summer. Those offerings made inside the summer, because the bhikkhus did not enjoy them, were eaten by insects, etc., so they requested to appoint someone with five qualities to hide the clothes with two actions, the Blessed One said so. Praising the merits of wanting to learn, the sixth was established. This is also based on accepting at the wrong time, and it should be understood that it is to completely abandon the three defilements that will become very heavy transgressions, etc. Less than ten days, until (ten days), means that ten days are called ten nights, starting from not completing ten days, until ten days. Autumn small month, meaning that the autumn small month has two ways of sleeping. The first is the autumn middle month.
