If the Sangha wants to appoint a monk named "So-and-so" to distribute ownerless bowls, then among you venerable ones, whoever can tolerate the appointment of a monk named "So-and-so" to distribute ownerless bowls, please remain silent. Whoever cannot tolerate it, please speak up. Since the Sangha has tolerated and permitted it, the Sangha appoints the monk named "So-and-so" to distribute ownerless bowls, that is, the monk appointed to distribute ownerless bowls is named "So-and-so." The Sangha has already appointed the monk to distribute ownerless bowls. Thus, because everyone remains silent, it is considered agreed. Regarding his daily use, it is that when the Sangha gathers, he should tell the monks of the Sangha: 'Venerable ones, tomorrow I will distribute ownerless bowls, please each of you take your own bowl and enter into the Sangha.' Then, on the next day, the Sangha gathers, and the bowl is placed in front of the elders of the Sangha, and the merits of the bowl are explained. If the elder likes it, he says, 'Please divide it equally.' If he refuses, then that bowl is given to the second elder. The Sangha should also treat the newly arrived monks in the same way. If it has reached the third one, when requesting for the first time, do not give it between two sentences. Give it at the third sentence, so that one can also confess the committed mistakes. They should all give what they have abandoned to that monk, and admonish him thus: 'You should not bless this bowl, do not entrust it, do not give it to others, and until it is finally broken, you must use it carefully.' If it is not used as instructed, then in all cases it will constitute a serious violation. The daily use of the person holding the ownerless bowl is: the two bowl containers should be placed nearby, the good bowl should be placed inside, and the other should be used for blessing. Take both and go begging for alms. Dry rice should be placed inside, and wet rice should be placed in one's own bowl. Put it down and then eat one's own portion. Washing with dry cow dung and wiping should also be done with that bowl first, and then it is one's own turn. When needing to shave the head, one should find a good place.

It should be placed, it should be placed like that. Other situations are different. If there is only one place to put the bowl, then put it on top or bottom, whichever is more suitable. If the burnt earthenware is good, then burn it. If there is only one earthenware pot, put it where the color becomes beautiful. When walking, it should also be placed in a good bowl container. If someone carries it, it should be given to the person who has been blessed. That should be delivered by me. If not, put it on the left shoulder. The right shoulder is for blessing. If it is not done as stated, it will be a serious mistake. The so-called not blessing is to bless what already exists on it. This is to prevent interruption. Others say that if the second one is blessed, the first one will be abandoned. Another situation is that holding extra items will be more serious than the previous fall. Therefore, it should bless itself. In order not to make people poor, it is given to that person. The so-called not giving is not to consider holding for others, that is its meaning. The so-called not giving to others is not to let it become someone else's property, that is its meaning. The so-called slightly slow, this is its interruption karma. Do not interrupt as soon as possible because of boredom. If you do that, you will make a mistake. If you search for a lot, the fall will be just as much. If you want to manifest one, you should give it to the Sangha. The others should be divided among friends, that is, given away. If that happens, how will it fall? The bowl will break. Therefore, if it is repaired with one, two, three or four patches, or not repaired, as long as it can be tolerated to use, in order to pursue good, if you look for the second one, you will make a mistake when searching. If you get it, you should give it up. Similarly, for the situation where five patches should be used to repair, but not repaired but can tolerate use, it should also be said like this. For those who should be repaired with five patches, repaired or not repaired, if they cannot tolerate use, there is no fall. If you think good is good, you should give up. If you think bad is good, you will fall.

It should not be abandoned. Whether it is good or bad, if it is considered bad, there is no downfall. For those who have two, gather one and argue. Through letters and so on, or for others, or for one's own supplies, if seeking from non-Buddhists, it is a mistake. Is it a mistake with one's own value? Or not taken from others? If taken after exchanging, there is no downfall. Second. The third and fourth are about authorizing the basis of fully accepting the cause of religious robes. In order to avoid becoming a serious violation, and the afflictions of poverty and distrust, and allowing relatives, and ropes, and not guarding the minds of patrons. There, in Shravasti, Nidaka demanded cotton from those who weave cotton, and had a weaver weave a piece of cloth for the Sangha in a religious way. Second, relying on the king's son, the third was established. The so-called self-seeking means seeking one or two from some people and half a tael from others. The so-called cotton can be silk cotton, because grasping it will also become grasping silk. Wool or coarse cloth shankha, or zarma, or gesoma, or dugula grass cotton, or kotamba grass, or cotton, or niok cotton. If a weaver is asked to weave silk cotton, there will be two downfalls, because the cushion is made of silk sarpa, and the weaver is asked to weave by a non-relative. Because it is one thing, if it is abandoned, it is one thing, and one thing should be abandoned, which is the final conclusion. If cotton is demanded from a non-relative for the sake of clothing, it is a mistake. There is no downfall for embracing a child. If one spins any cotton oneself, it is a mistake. Whether it is demanded from a relative, or from a non-relative, or bought with one's own value, in short, any cotton, whether it is a relative weaver, or a non-relative weaver, one, two, or more can be, the weaver is helped by a relative, or helped by oneself, weaving is also possible, it should be abandoned. There is no abandonment in demanding from a relative or having a relative weave. For relatives who are considered relatives, etc., combining the four situations, it should be understood like the precepts of bhikkhunis. Weaving voluntarily or with reward
