One should not take back what was stolen by a thief. If the opponent is declared defeated, then one should take what is obtained from the opponent's camp. "Cutting off" means to take possession of it. Regarding the classification of transgressions, for example, regarding the first precept concerning clothing, one should not say, "What is not allowed should be done." It should be blessed in this way: Place the bowl on the left hand, cover it with the right hand, and recite as follows: So-and-so (name), please listen. I, the bowl of so-and-so (name), which is suitable for eating food, is a container for the upright, and is blessed as a container for receiving. Recite this twice or three times. There is no transgression in the size of the bowl. The size of the bowl should be determined by the extent to which the bowl is filled. The smaller the bowl of a monk, the more satisfactory it is among all the nuns. Because of being ordained, there is no transgression in holding a gray bowl. It is said in the scriptures: If the bowl has not been discarded, and one holds excessive white, one commits a minor offense. This should be understood from the root, and understood as there being no transgression. If a messenger brings it, one can hold it for life. Or, if a messenger is sent, and the messenger arrives after a long time and brings it, there is also no transgression. In order to test whether someone can tolerate a little affliction, there is no transgression in placing it within ten days. Whatever one wants to manifest, one should bless. The second is to hold it for testing. It is not testing in order to allow it, but even so, it is for the sake of others. Otherwise, holding it every day will result in a minor offense. After ten days, it should be discarded. In order to facilitate the preparation of food and drink, the small bowl should be divided into two halves. The same applies to the salt container and the tilted edge. As much as the bowl can hold from the food obtained through begging, that much container is needed, and the excess should be cut off. Others can also take the name. If one does not take everything as one's own, then it is allowed to use it. Everyone should hold one bowl, and that

Why is that? It is to avoid poverty and to abandon the rituals of other non-Buddhists. Because they eat with leaves and palms, to avoid doing that. In order not to become difficult to heal and difficult to satisfy, one should only hold one bowl. The situation where it is allowed due to poverty is that even if it is not measured by such poverty, there is no downfall. Another measure is that one should know the use of leftover clothes. If one holds a bowl for more than a day, will it be abandoned? It will be abandoned, because whenever it is found, once it dawns, the bhikkhuni has held it, so it is said. The general use of the bowl is that one who has not received full ordination should not wash the bowl, and if the memory is stable, there is no downfall. Do not write names on the bowl. There is no downfall in not making a mark. This is also the case for other people's belongings. For the belongings of the Three Jewels, one should write "Dharma object made for the offering of so-and-so." One should also distinguish between people's bedding and cushions. Do not put the bowl in the container while standing, nor take it out while standing. Do not discard the wiping cloth with the bowl. Do not put it in an unclean place. Do not wash it with sand and mud. Do not put it in a very damp place. Nor should it be left casually very dry. It should be used moderately. If you are on the road, wrap it with your hands and the edge of your Dharma robes, do not hand it over, but put it in the bowl container. Also, do not hand it over with your hands, but you can put it on a rock. There are three types of containers: the bowl container, the medicine container, and the molasses container. Those ropes should not be the same length either. Otherwise, the lengths should be alternated so that they do not become like pottery. If you ask what those ropes should be like, it is to put cotton wool in the cloth and sew it up. If you ask where the bowl should be placed, it is in the hole on the side of the bowl. That is also done when building a temple. The people of the monastery make a support out of bamboo, smear it with cow dung and mud, and then put the bowl there. The second lid should also be made in the same way. If you go to another place, take it with you.
