It is the fifty-fifth (item). The first three are half and three folios. The three of the second are half and four folios. The three of the third should be made into half and five folios. Sewing should also be sewn in the same way. After that, it is sewing. There are three types of sewn Dharma garments: the large one has five and three. The small one is half and five, and half and three. The medium is in between the two. There are three types of upper garments: the large one has five and three. The small one is half and five, and three. The small one is half and five, and three. The medium is in between the two. Similarly, there are also two types of lower skirts: five and two, and four and two. Among the blessed ones, what is the smallest? It is the one that covers three circumferences. Among the discarded ones, what is the smallest? It is one cubit in circumference. If the body is large and the cubit is short, then the Dharma garment should be made according to the size of the body, not according to the size of the cubit. The reverse is also the same. If it is not enough according to the size, then the edge should be cut off and worn with the shoulders exposed. If it is worn larger or smaller than the stated size, it is a misdeed. If a garment smaller than the size is left for more than a month, it is a misdeed. The third (item). In Shravasti, Kaludayi went out because he had the nun Sheva wash the unclean old clothes stained with semen, and when she poured the semen in, in order to completely abandon those afflictions that violate serious offenses, and like this, seeing that entering from that door is very important, and in order to completely abandon the afflictions of poverty, so like this, relatives are allowed, and in order to completely abandon the faults caused by other unbelieving afflictions, and in order to completely abandon the afflictions that depend on conditions, and in order to prevent attachment from arising due to the conditions encountered later, the fourth item was established. The so-called non-relative refers to the mother's father, and the lineage of the mother's father, up to the seventh generation, are relatives. Beyond the seventh generation, they are not relatives. For example, mother and daughter, mother and father's lineage, aunt or sister or niece or maid, or saying "you are my mother" and considering her as mother, or saying "you are my sister" and so on, or the elderly, or the sick.

Even if someone has been close for a long time and has become emaciated, changed in color, or possesses knowledge or merit, or if a monk possesses merit, or an Acharya, or his Khenpo, or someone like a Lama's position, or a relative who lives together, or someone who has become a disciple, or if the Sangha has assigned him to do the work of judgment, saying, "You should do it this way," even if such a person has learned such a craft, starting from the elders, these people are like relatives, and there is no offense for him. A Bhikshuni is one who has taken full ordination. This should also be said for all those who belong to the Bhikshuni. Old clothes are one's own. It is permissible to bless them at the appropriate time, i.e., wool, fine cloth, bark cloth, cotton, grass dugula, grass kotamaba, clothes in the sun, these are separated. Variegated colors and so on are also the same, it is an evil deed. To undertake means even to soak it in water. Similarly, touching and washing with rubbing and so on is also possible. To cook means even to soak it together in dye. To beat means even to slap it in the palm of the hand. If one thinks or doubts that a non-relative is a non-relative, and allows him to do any washing or other things, it is a Nishthita offense. If one thinks or doubts that a relative is a non-relative, and allows him to do it, it is an evil deed. Just as the offense of allowing him to wash, it also includes allowing him to stretch and sew. Some say that if the Dharma robes, bowls, and storage items are placed with a Bhikshuni, if the night changes, or if she does it in a scattered way, or if the monk becomes like that, it is an evil deed because of the combination, but it is not a Nishthita offense. If one entrusts it to a non-relative, and a relative does it, or allows others to undertake washing and other things, it is an offense, but it is not a Nishthita offense. Similarly, it is also said for others. From the beginning of the combination until the washing and other things are not finished, that period is an evil deed. If one entrusts it to a disciple, and the Khenpo also ignores it, because he combines without teaching, it is an offense. Whether it is one's own, another's, or the Sangha's, if it has been washed, or has been abandoned, or entrusted with Sangha cloth, letters, etc., it is possible.
