The Bhikshu Sangha should be convened. Otherwise, it would constitute a serious offense. The so-called "completely pure" should be declared as desired. The distinction is that today is the fifteenth Posadha of the Sangha, and I am a Bhikshu, the Posadha of the one named so-and-so is also the fifteenth, I, the Bhikshu named so-and-so, am completely pure of the Dharma of Obstructions. I will declare the Posadha and complete purity. I will also understand what is said, and it should be repeated three times. Offering the intention will be in accordance with the Sangha. Offering complete purity is to show that one has become a vessel at the time of performing the Posadha. Both should be offered. "Ask" means that whoever is to offer the intention and complete purity should be allowed to offer it, for the sake of giving. "Declare" means that whoever has taken the intention and complete purity should repeat it, so that he may know it. The Bhikshu who accepts the intention and complete purity says to the Bhikshu sitting in front of him: Venerable one, please listen, today is the fifteenth Posadha of the Sangha, in such and such a place, the Posadha of the Bhikshu named so-and-so is also the fifteenth, in such and such a place, the Bhikshu named so-and-so is completely pure of the Dharma of Obstructions. I will also declare the Posadha and complete purity. I will also understand what is said, and it should be declared. Why are intention and complete purity repeated to an individual and not to the Sangha? In order to avoid faults such as delay. If one offers the intention out of laziness or being preoccupied with evil deeds, there is fault. If one abides, or is sick, or suspects sickness, or has not been long since recovering from illness, or is caring for the sick, or is tired, or is resting, or is hungry, or is thirsty, or is afflicted by wind and sun, or eliminates severe drowsiness and heavy sleep, and is devoted to virtue, there is no downfall. If one participates in reciting the Pratimoksha Sutra, or hears its meaning, there is no downfall. In order not to forget, the words

The main thing is that in order not to forget its meaning, there will be no falling if you keep it in mind properly. After the habit of mindfulness is acquired, if you protect it soon after, there will be no falling. If you constantly strive to initiate diligence in the Dharma of the aspects of Bodhi, there will be no falling. If you realize the truth, there will be no falling. If the desire to give is abundant and the gathering is small, then the elder monks should also establish the good side and gather. Having taken the initial intention and complete purity, do not run after taking them. Do not jump into abysses and steps. Do not stay in the air. Do not go outside the boundary. Do not cross two rungs of the ladder and two steps of the stairs with one step. Do not fall asleep. Do not enter into samadhi. Having taken the intention and complete purity, if you go to the middle of the road, or if it is time before you go into the Sangha, or if you are confused, or if you vow to become a Bhikshu, etc., then it is not taking the intention and complete purity. If one can recite clearly, even one person can take the intention and complete purity for many. A person sitting on the ground should not give or receive to a person sitting in the air, and vice versa. Intention and complete purity should be recited one after another, not offered. Do not take intention by giving precepts. A non-bhikshuni should not invite. A person living within the boundary should invite intention to a person living within the boundary. There are two kinds of boundaries, large and small. The large one, if there is no water, is two and a half yojanas above. The same is true below. Even if there is accumulated water, the same is true above. If there is a tree or a mountain that reaches that height, it is also possible. If not, it is between the tree and the top of the mountain. The small boundary is from there to the mandala. The division of the large boundary should be done as follows: the resident monks should first set up the signs of the four directions and then tell the entire Sangha. At the time of the boundary karma, intention should be invited.

There is no obstacle. Then, a request should be made: Venerable Sangha, please listen! Thus, this place is where the monks reside, and the firm signs of the four directions of the great boundary of the original inhabitants are fully declared. If the time of the Sangha has come and it is permissible, please grant permission, Sangha. Within these firm signs, the Sangha has demarcated the great boundary with the limit of the place of the same recitation, except for towns and the vicinity of towns, from the monastery to the dwelling place. This is the request. The procedure should be as follows: Venerable Sangha, please listen! From "this place" to "towns and the vicinity of towns," as before. Those venerable ones who can tolerate the Sangha demarcating the great boundary within these signs, with the limit of the place of the same recitation, except for towns and the vicinity of towns, from the monastery to the dwelling place, let them remain silent. Those who cannot tolerate it, let them speak. The Sangha tolerates and grants permission, and the Sangha has demarcated the great boundary within these signs, with the limit of the place of the same recitation, except for towns and the vicinity of towns, from the monastery to the dwelling place. Thus, because there is no speech, it is accepted as such. After that, if desired, permission should also be given not to be separated from the Dharma robes: Venerable Sangha, please listen! Here, the Sangha is in harmony, and the great boundary of the Sangha has been demarcated with the limit of the place of the same recitation. If the time of the Sangha has come and it is permissible, please grant permission, Sangha. Within the great boundary demarcated by the Sangha, the vow that the monks will not be separated from their Dharma robes. This is the request. The procedure should be as follows: Venerable Sangha, please listen! Here, the Sangha is in harmony. The great boundary has been demarcated with the limit of the place of the same recitation. Therefore, within the great boundary of the Sangha, the vow that the monks will not be separated from their Dharma robes.
