Everything is a sthūlātyaya. A householder makes a request to all the sangha, and they, whether they do it themselves or have someone appointed, it is the main thing for all the sangha. If one wants to do it alone, then it is only for that person. When taking and giving bhikṣu ordination, receiving a messenger, etc., are four situations. If all three give bhikṣu ordination, that is the main thing. Others are, what is done when taking bhikṣu ordination, that is a sthūlātyaya. For actions other than that, it is a duḥkṛta. If one says they bought a woman, it is a duḥkṛta. Saying they bought her after picking her out by name, or acting as a matchmaker for someone already bought, is a sthūlātyaya. Some say that for someone who is not a beginner and does not understand the situation, it is a sthūlātyaya. Requesting a woman who has not succeeded, and requesting a woman with an unattractive appearance, doing some deceptive things, and parents giving (her) when she is pregnant, and later not giving her and uniting her with a superior person, and after sending and receiving messages, not marrying her because of one or two who are abusive, etc., and causing harm, and saying to a monk: This is your house, this is your person, doing this, and he says it in order to request the sangha to teach the Dharma, and a man asks about an appointed time, and saying they saw (her) sitting by the wall, everything is a sthūlātyaya. For an already appointed time, hitting a man because of a entrusted matter, it is a duḥkṛta. For a beginner, doing a binding duḥkṛta. Similarly, it is also the same for the teacher and preceptor. If one says: Why is this girl not being married off? Why is this boy not starting a family? It is a duḥkṛta. If one says: Why are this girl and boy not being taken to the in-laws' house? From saying this, to words that are slightly similar to it, if one must use them, no matter what one says, it is all a duḥkṛta. Arranging for something that is not done, this is also a pācattika, after calling (him), leaving the student without doing anything, and saying: Preceptor, please sit, I will go and do it, it is also the same. For men and hermaphrodites, etc., one should distinguish the pācattikas as before. For not understanding the hint, there is no pācattika. When a certain woman is cooking rice porridge
