Having been invited before, one can eat food. I also know the six groups of monks, and because they ate food, it was established to fully enjoy the basis of alms for the sake of the children's hunger. Because of afflictions such as disbelief, the third rule was established. What is called the Sangha is what protects it. What is called a learner is a stream-enterer, a once-returner, and the home of a non-returner. Non-learners do not live at home. The precepts of learners are established through actions without conflict. What is called cowardly retreating refers to being invited before the precepts are given, so there is no transgression. What is called with one's own hand means in the hand. What is called eating and consuming means taking lotus roots and beans, there is no transgression. If one eats or consumes, merely taking it will lead to transgression. Because it shows what was taken, if one gives up the precepts again, there is no transgression. Moreover, if enjoyment increases and one prays, there is no transgression. Through prayer and two actions. The third (rule). On the yellow ground, residing in a secluded monastery, the six groups of monks had women bring food, robbed them on the way, and made them walk naked, therefore the basis of alms was established, and because of afflictions such as disbelief, the fourth rule was established. What is called a secluded monastery refers to a place where there is a residence one yojana away from the village. Beyond that is the borderland. Moreover, one should reside where there are no gods of the demon's retinue and fierce yakshas. What is called unexamined means that a forest ranger with five qualities should be appointed. Moreover, one should wake up early in the morning and examine the forest. If there are many robbers, one should send a smoke signal. Leafy wine cups should be placed on the road. If not, a banner should be raised. Will those donors come carefully or not? A friend should also be given to them. Any child can also do it. If he examines it himself and eats food, there is no transgression. What is called outside the monastery means outside the temple. What is called eating or consuming means swallowing into the throat. For an unexamined forest, thinking it is unexamined or hesitating

It is okay to eat. If you eat, confess individually. Is it because you perceive without examining? It is okay to eat with doubt, but it is a transgression. If someone who identifies individually in the forest dies or flees, there is no downfall. Some say that in an unexamined dwelling, others become suspicious, and immediately upon entering there is a downfall. A monk should be skilled in land, stars, directions, and roads. Half-food and water, etc., should be placed. Like saying, "Come back, it is good to come," etc., let a smile precede action, and do not have an angry expression. One should know the mothers, etc. It is the same for others. Like individual confession. For these, one should understand that complete enjoyment arises from four ways: complete enjoyment with the hand is bad, complete enjoyment with command is arrogant, unlawful complete enjoyment, and complete enjoyment in a bad place. The individual confession is complete. The so-called "very many" means that all the transgressions arising from the four, etc., are included in this training, so the number is immeasurable. For example, do not beat a drum, except when commanding to make offerings to the teacher. Do not draw three lines of oil paint. Do not look at your face in a mirror or water. When examining water, there is no downfall in looking for scars, wrinkles, white hair, a bluish face, and the differences now. Do not comb your hair with a comb or scissors. Do not be lazy in the direction of virtue. If a garden does not bloom or bear fruit, do not go elsewhere without entrusting it to another monk. Do not knock on the door for a long time. One should consciously open and close the door with the middle connection. One should consciously push outward and pull inward. When walking, one should be upright, not letting the senses scatter outward, and walk without being hasty or slow. If you see that the container for washing feet is empty, refill it and place it. Do not drive wooden pegs into a stupa, do not climb it. If one has not taken full ordination, wash the feet with scented water, maintain mindfulness, and climb for the sake of offering, there is no downfall.
