If done for others, it is a minor offense. Eighth. In Shravasti. Because the monks were bathing naked, the Blessed One, starting from the mother of the deer keeper, allowed a large cloth for summer. The monks exceeded this limit, so it is the ninth. "To do" means by oneself or by another. The limit is threefold, applied in order. If blessing something smaller than that, it is a minor offense. Ninth. In Shravasti. A novice sewed a large Dharma robe, blessed a little of it, and carried the rest on his shoulder, going to another monastery, so the tenth was established. The measure of the robe spoken of by the Sugata means close to exceeding the measure. Starting from that, it is called a downfall. Dharma robe means blessed. "Ten high" means fifteen cubits according to the standard human cubit. "Six high in width" means nine cubits. Making it smaller than that, there is no downfall. Exceeding five cubits, it is a minor offense. Tenth. The ninety downfalls are complete. Among these twenty, two bases are to be understood: the base of the road, and the base for completely holding the Sangha, and the base for taking land, and the base for knowing through seeing, hearing, and doubting mutual discussions, and the base for learning in the direction of virtue, and the base for thoroughly determining the words of increase, and the base of non-compliance, and the base of drinking, and the base of inviting as a guest, and the base of entering the village, and the base of entering the house, and the base of the Uposatha, and the base of hiding actions, and the base of hiding the dwelling place, and the base of hiding the manifested Dharma robe, in order. The thirteenth and final volume of the Condensed Vinaya. In Rajagriha. After offering the first alms of Utpala color to the Sangha, the second alms were given to one alms-seeker, resulting in a shortage of food. On the second day, the first alms were also offered to the Sangha. The second was taken by a novice, and that person fainted and fell in the street. The worldlings began to scold, so the basis of the Bhikshunis was established, for the afflictions of the non-believers and so on.

This is the first part about confessing separately. The term "non-relative" refers to the expression indicating that there is no transgression for relatives. The term "bhikshuni" refers to one who is fully ordained and abides in her own nature. The term "staying on the main road" means that if (food) is given to the summer house, there is no transgression. The term "going to the village for alms" means that if it is not that kind of food, and it is not given in the middle of the main road, there is no transgression. The term "from that" means from that place. The term "with one's own hand" means not letting others take it, or letting others give it. The term "food and drink" refers to the five kinds of food and the five kinds of drink. The term "taking" means that merely taking it will lead to transgression. The term "eating or drinking" means taking it for that purpose. The term "that bhikshu" means that it is not a bhikshuni, and even if she gives it, there is no transgression, this is to be proclaimed. The term "outer monastery" means that even if there are bhikshus in the village, it should not be proclaimed in front of them. The term "to the bhikshus" refers to those who abide in their own nature. The term "reproach" refers to what is forbidden by the Tathagata. The term "unsuitable" means that it is not in accordance with the bhikshu, and therefore does not follow according to its own nature. The term "separate confession" refers to proclaiming the name of the transgression. If one should also confess separately for those other than these, then why is it said that one should only confess separately for that one? This is because it must be done definitively in front of all the assembled bhikshus, this is the expression that excludes having particularities. Immediately recognize this and confess. The term "do not hide" is also expressing other particularities. Some say that even for many, one should confess in front of many. Others say that one should confess as it appears in the sutra. Some say that one should confess twice. For a non-relative, thinking or doubting that they are a non-relative, taking it is a separate confession. For a relative, thinking or doubting that they are a non-relative, taking it is a minor offense. Is a relative or a non-relative
